OLTL: Discussion for the week of April 4

I've always given JPL more of a pass than many people here do -- yes, he mugs like crazy, but I think he has charisma (as does FF) and I have seen him display some acting chops. But he's getting worse rather than better. His facial expressions yesterday were so bizarre they took me completely out of the story. OLTL's shoot-it-quick taping style is obviously hell on actors, only the vets are really able to keep up, but JPL has been around long enough that he should have developed some instincts to carry him through. He's looked pretty ragged the last few weeks, maybe he's involved in some other project that's diverting his attention even more. Maybe he's flying back and forth to the Carolinas to golf, I don't know.

I knew she was going to slap him but I figured it would just be over the video of Shane and what not. Boy, did Jack deserve that slap! I couldn't believe he said that about Marty. I was hoping Blair would make him tell that to crazy Marty who was in the hospital hallway, then she would go cuckoo on Jack's ass. LOL

Jack also needed a slap for his bad acting and for mispronouncing La Boulae. Seriously, has this kid ever watched OLTL or practiced his lines!?

No, I think I'm the only one who actually enjoys the show based on all the critics around here.

I like it too, I just like to complain.

I think he knows he has a job no matter what, at least until OLTL is gone (if it goes), so he can just do whatever he wants. He may also feel the stories are beneath him - he hasn't had a problem openly tanking stories in the past. And it pays off for him, since the show rewards him with more stories every time he trashes another one.

I think it's good people complain about things they don't like. It shows they're invested. Sorry but I have no interest in being a mindless robot who accepts every stupid thing RC writes like it's nothing......

Kassie is awesome and I love her hair, she's gorgeous

I personally would have turned Jack over my knee and beat his ass till he couldn't sit

He is the same guy that rooted for Starr when she ordered piranha and put it in Max's bathtub.

Still the best Starr moment ever.

Still the best Starr moment ever.

And just proves that Todd has always been a douche and not just since Trevor took over.

Kassie's current hairstyle is great and it looks absolutely amazing on her. She is gorgeous.

And she looks really good when they put her in that blue.
