March 26, 201114 yr Member Donna Swajeski could just redo one of her old (and overall, good) stories, where Tad is shot, comatose for weeks or months, and he gets a mysterious visitor in the hospital - Dixie. Edited March 26, 201114 yr by CarlD2
March 26, 201114 yr Member I think it would be kind of beyond farce for AMC to kill Jesse off again and bring Jacob on again to replace him. What I'd much rather see is Jacob (and Cassandra) with him re-enter the storyline following a Jesse/Angie break-up after this horrible, horrible storyline. That way, Jesse and Angie can perhaps deal with all the unaddressed Jacob stuff - she moved on and built a family with his long-lost relative who looked exactly like him! - while Jesse also works to redeem himself and rebuild his character in the audience's eyes, because he's been a broken-down joke since Pratt brought in Rebecca and Natalia IMO. Maybe dig deeper into his missing years so as to explain his psychology, the way he changed and became so much less honorable after years of struggle and hiding out? Jacob would hang around for a little while to play off the Hubbards then depart; Cassandra would stay. I could be down for this kind of story. Even if it ends w/ Cassandra remaining permanently in Pine Valley, especially b/c we know it won't be Yaya this time around.
March 26, 201114 yr Member Too bad K&S have no creativity and no talent to write something like that. I have no hope in this storyline turning out anything like some are hoping it will.
March 26, 201114 yr Member But I wonder where the writers could be going with this. Frankie wants children, Randi doesn't want them right now. I wonder if Frankie might end up cheating on Randi and getting someone pregnant, (who I don't know). Or maybe since the writers barely use him, it's just something they will bring up from time to time and let that be Frankie/Randi's "issue", that's not going to get resolved anytime soon. Or, it could be foreshadowing to some big "Randi has a baby? Say what?!" reveal.

I think it's just more of ABC's Baby Rabies. Nothing deeper than that sadly.
March 26, 201114 yr Member Oh, Lord! Angie goes blind for her baby... only for it to turn out dead! How tragic. I don't know what to think about this... I guess it could be riveting (if done right). Edited March 26, 201114 yr by Pine Charles

March 26, 201114 yr Member Does anyone deal with grief head on these days in soaps, other than switching babies and all that nonsense? I would have tuned in to see J and A deal with the loss of the baby head on(perhaps the miracle being that Angie regains her eye sigh some time later on), again it's the impending baby switch that irks me.
March 27, 201114 yr Member LOL why in the world does anyone think Jesse is going to jail over this? Why is his punishment already being planned? Hilarious.
March 27, 201114 yr Member ^ Seriously. I know I'm late to the party on this, but I don't think this is as character-ruining for Jesse as it's being made out to be. It's dark material, for sure, but he's trying to protect Angie, and the baby he pretends is theirs has been abandoned. It's not like he stole it from someone and is letting another woman believe her baby is dead.

Agree.
March 27, 201114 yr Member It's not like he stole it from someone and is letting another woman believe her baby is dead. True. *sigh* All I can say is, when Maya decides she wants the baby back, I hope Angie reminds Jesse of the hell they went through when they thought they had lost Frankie as teenagers. I hope this story does not operate inside a vacuum of history. Otherwise....
March 27, 201114 yr Member LOL why in the world does anyone think Jesse is going to jail over this? Why is his punishment already being planned? Hilarious. I'm not sure what will happen, but I think that this story would destroy his character if it's brushed off the way that stuff that Tad, Babe, or Krystal did was brushed off. The main reason I suggested prison would be because I think the character would need a break from Angie for a few months at least, but there are other ways for that to happen.
