The ratings between AMC and OLTL are so close. AMC has MORE viewers. The only thing I will believe if AMC is cancelled, is that this "focus group" rumor may have some validity, and that OLTL did very well. Granted, the 18-49 demo difference of 100,000 viewers is sizeable but not anything jaw dropping. They need to just make the announcement. It quite a sad thing.

Has to be Kreizman. Hayes and JHB have to be set for retirement. And I would hope that after spending pretty much 2 decades at AMC Beldner wouldn't make such a crass comment.

I think it's Kreizman too. Kreizman worked with David Rupel at GL, and Rupel is now the showrunner/EP of The Real Housewives. Rupel also brought along former GL writer Brett Steinart and GL producer Brett Cullen. Would not be surprised if Kreizman went to work for Rupel after AMC ends.

Yes but AMC has been having the lower demos....a 0.7?? ATWT and GL went there and look where they are now.

Kriezman was a mess at GL and flat at ATWT (and he junked what could have been a good family story for the Hughes in favor of hyping his pal Tom Pelphrey's new adventures in dramatic screaming). It's kind of sad that he keeps getting jobs - I don't even know what you would "write" at Real Housewives.

For some reason Im kind of zen about the possibility about AMC ending. I would like the show to go on to the point where AJ and Miranda have their big wedding but if it is the shows times it's the shows time.
