February 24, 201115 yr Member Could be fun in the same way Spartacus is... --from much of the Spartacus team (and Turdors/Borgias team) and head written by Chris Chibnall who was headrunner for the first two years of Torchwood (and wrote the best episodes IMHO). Premier episode this week, then it starts in full in April. Edited February 24, 201115 yr by EricMontreal22
February 24, 201115 yr Member I dont get Startz but will get a free preview on my directtv this weekend so I will be able to catch Camelot and Spartacus... Edited February 24, 201115 yr by Soapsuds
February 24, 201115 yr Member I don't get Starz and watch Spartacus on Netflix, so I have to hope this will be added to Netflix streaming or seek out creative sources. But I am going to be all over this one way or another.
February 24, 201115 yr Author Member I'm sure it'll be on Netflix--they're hoping for a show to bridge the audiences between Spartacus and this Summer's Torchwood. (It's ironic, I wanted Chibnall back writing Torchwood, but I guess he got offered this instead--at least he's not still wasted writing Law and Order UK). February 24, 201115 yr Member I'm really excited for this too. Camelot, The Borgias, & Game of Thrones!
February 26, 201115 yr Member VERY COOL! Starz is previewing Camelot after Spartacus: GotA finale! I like it so far -- only issue... Eva Green - hopefully that stops. Ok I really liked that preview -- sucks that we now have to wait until April for more. I liked all in preview -- even Morgan's bits and pieces. Sad ending. Edited February 26, 201115 yr by London
March 2, 201115 yr Author Member Yeah it definitely has potential to be a fun series, and it looks gorgeous. My only real gripe was it has that dialogue that mixes sorta faux "olden days" talk with some modern slang and turns of phrase... Spartacus does that too (only more so), but that show is so stylized it sorta... fits.
April 2, 201115 yr Member did anyone watch? I couldn't. I don't have Starz and supposedly it won't be on Netflix for 3 months or so. I will watch whenever it does stream though.

April 2, 201115 yr Member Thanks a bunch Q. So far I've had the chance to see the first episode you posted. I thought it was pretty good, definitely worth watching. It's not as compelling to me as Spartacus, but I see a lot of potential here. I love that actor who played Marc Antony in Rome, I think his name is James Purefoy. The actor who plays Arthur is definitely pretty, Morgan was right about that much.
April 3, 201115 yr Member It gets better with the second episode. It isn't Spartacus but it isn't The Tudors either, I am not quite sure how to describe it. It's like a show from The CW maybe? By the end of the second episode the whole soap opera set up is in place. I will continue watching and if you want will post the links as I find them. I don't have Starz either.
