Paul Rauch OUT at 'Y&R'

Does he mean past director of Y&R specifically?

If not then perhaps Francesca James.

It can't be Ellen Wheeler, as he'd be trashing her non-stop and trying to say she's going to turn Y&R into the LDS Hour.

I assumed he meant past director of Y&R, but now I realize it's kind of ambiguous:

Y&R's new producer is white.... And a past director!

Victoria Rowell said she hopes it's Sally McDonald, then Nelson said "Getting warmer." Does that mean it's not McDonald but we're on the right track?

I think that's exactly who it is.

It would make the most sense and probably be a good move. I just can't see it being Kathy Foster. Since leaving Y&R has she returned to do any directing? I know she was at DAYS and then B&B, but I don't recall her doing much of anything at Y&R.

*The Jim Reilly Method recommends repeating this at least 20 times.

The Y&R site is saying MAB is the EP? I mean - she has had EP credits before I think, but... if she is given EP, maybe it'll be enough rope to hang herself and, à la LML, she'll be on her way out?

Hell, that was funny. i'd love Kathryn Foster. At least that woman knows what the damn show is supposed to look like.

It's Sally all you dudes and dudettes...why do you think they've been testing out new directors: Habib/Chris/Conal.....there's going to be a major opening on the directing team...Sally was producer during the strike when Griffith became head writer. She's MAB's choice and she comes cheaper than Rauch. Now that the Bell's are back in control, you will see some Bloom/Sony people go. Rauch was brought in by Sony...not CBS...note Rauch's goodbye press release where he mentioned his collaboration with Bill and Maria Bell and Sony's Steve Kent. No mention of Babs...But Hamner is a Babs appointee, so how long will he last...possibly until Chris Whitesell comes aboard?

Past director? Sally is still a director, so I don't think she qualifies if that's one of the hints Nelson is pushing.

If it is Sally, she deserves the promotion and is a very talented director, so hopefully she's as good a producer. I will never watch this show again as long as the current writing team is running it, but I will be happy for Sally if it is her and hopefully she tones down the lighting.

I just hope whoever is in charge of the tech stuff turns down the [!@#$%^&*] lights.

Honestly, I don't care about mediocre Chris Whitesell or even the fab Susan Dansby joining the cast. With Dansby at least we're gauranteed a few good scripts, but that can only do so much when the overall plotting is so bad.
