I would totally assume RH was older just out of my sense of timeline of her career vs. MCE's, but I think MCE funked with her lips and perhaps other parts of her face a bit at some point and that put age on her. Kind of like Hisssstal C^nt, girls getting their faces injected for fad when they really didn't need it yet.

Thank you! I thought I was imagining things. MCE definitely did something to her lips and it was a bad idea. Then the folks in makeup heaped these gobs of gloss on her and it made her look like she'd been hit in the mouth with a bottle of KY jelly.

She's a beautiful woman with a banging bod. I hope she stays away from other "augmentations." That's another probem I have with the move to LA. The LA standard of beauty is very different from the NY look.

Its funny all of you here are going on about her lips, lips I've never really noticed. Watching today's episode after seeing this discussion its as plain as day to me! Funny how our brains work and what we sub-consciously deem important to focus on and what not too.

I can believe that they're natural, they just pout and curl in a way we're used to seeing as unnatural, especially when they're all KY'd up like marceline was saying. But there's just something about her look that seems like an injectable or two has been up in that face.

Thanks to DontStare at SOC:

MCE reveals that she's shocked her exit news didn't come out sooner. It's basically been a done deal since her contract ended in 6/2010. She talks about how much she loves AMC...but she's 29 now and she wants to mix it up. It's not about finding something better, it's about finding something new. She talks about EP JHC and how hard it was to tell her. She told Julie she can't stay for another year but she didn't want to leave immediately. They settled on 7 more months. It still hasn't really hit her (MCE) that she's leaving. She reveals that she told Chrishell and Cameron early on. She also talks about the fans & how happy she is that most are happy, excited for her. She thinks the writers did an incredible job sending Annie off in style. They will detail more about that next week.

    •   I liked the effect of the curtains closing. Yeah it was like the end of Act I.   Or maybe they are simply trying to emphasize the drama of the end of an episode -- instead of a random abrupt end that has happened in some prior episodes.
    • I posted this in the behind the scenes thread but I know this thread is busier so wanted to mention it here as well. During their instagram live yesterday, Daphnee Duplaix and Trisha Mann-Grant mentioned that they will find out this month if the show is renewed for another season. Just a heads up so we can keep an eye out for an announcement and keep our fingers crossed for a multi-year renewal!
    • They haven't explained the ownership of the Bistro, but Doug told Holly the other day he didn't get the job there. Basically Roman just hired Doug on the spot and gave him a room.  It was really nice of Roman.  I don't know if he knows who Doug is or that he stole Julie's necklace.  That was unclear-at least to me.
    • I'm not sure how I felt about it, but I do kind of like that it felt like the show telling us this concludes the first chapter of the series. Could be interesting if they only do it for big aftermath episodes. The biggest mistake with Martin is that it's almost hard to buy his anger because we've gotten no strong scenes with him and his parents. They've all been with Anita/Vernon. I can't even remember him ever even saying one word to Nicole, even in passing.
    •   Thank you! Agreed on both posts. And the comments about Mike Manning are nonsense.
    • I haven't watched yet, but did they explain the current ownership of The Bistro?  Because when RonC was writing, wasn't he applying for work with Sophia?
    • I think Brandon has gotten better in normal day to day scenes, but he’s very over the top when the character is meant to be angry or agitated. I did laugh when she started yelling at Leslie and then when he started to throw all those damn books, lol. He needs an acting coach to work out some of these kinks.
    • I've never found him as bad as some. I think he's always shined in scenes with Vernon, who should be his father. I also think he has great chemistry with Kat and Dani which I hope they tap into more over time. Dani/Martin feel like such a fun and believable Auntie/Nephew relationship.
    • I'm fighting for my life on another board for my husband Brandon and I'll do it here too lmao
