why is it a surpise that they are "letting" her apear on their shows? What was Susan supposed to be banned from all things ABC post-cancellation news?

They are. But I highly doubt her Leno appearance, for example, was on the original tour schedule. If anything, I thought an appearance on The View would've come at the beginning of her book tour when she did GMA, Nate Berkus, RR, and WW. I think The View booking was recent in light of the cancellation.

There was a preview where they ask her if she was blindsided and she says she was blindsided. She's teary for a moment in a clip they show. The reporter said it was the most emotional she's ever seen her in an interview or something of that nature.

They taped the interview from the Ryan Penthouse set at AMC.

It broke my heart to see her cry, she said she was caught off guard by the whole thing. I don't expect her to blast ABC, but she will most likely be honest about her feelings about the whole ordeal, and keep it classy at the same time.
