Starting in late September 2025, she has been posting about her financial situation on ig, giving periodic updates, that something had happened with her home, what she claims was an illegal foreclosure, and something about things stolen, and she is/was homeless? with an ongoing legal battle, still ongoing in February 2026.

I think all of this happened in the early '10s too.

For MTS' 47th anniversary as Nikki, Y&R's social media channels uploaded two very rare, lengthy clips which focus on the aftermath of Casey learning that Nikki was a stripper.

Nikki is so earnest there. She goes from being joyful over her new job to realizing Casey knows and then fiercely defending herself to then pleading for acceptance. Really good range from MTS. A story like this could easily play today but would be considered too edgy.

why are sony and cbs sitting on all these gems from 1973 they need to release the full series for us to binge

There's a real earnestness and purity Melody had to her work and had for a long time. I think it's how Nikki remained a compelling character even when she behaved horribly.

Wasn't Nikki still married to Greg when she began stripping at the Bayou? I think he wound up there after his car broke down and saw Nikki onstage. He then tried to cover her up with his coat and rush her out of there, but the customers became irate and beat him up which led to him being hospitalized.

Nikki's stripping set off a chain reaction and affected many storylines with Edward the stalker, meeting Victor, getting pregnant with Victoria, meeting Katherine, marrying Kevin, marrying Tony and getting involved with the mob, Cash's death, feuding with Lori, tossed into the Lori/Lance/Leslie/Lucas mix, psycho Eve trying to kill her, Rick Daros etc etc...

I believe Nikki and Greg marriage ended shortly after Liz got shot, and you've mistaken Greg with Kevin.

At one time on youtube there was a 1981 Y&R promo of Nikki visiting Greg in the hospital. Someone posted that he had gotten beaten up at the Bayou. I wish I could track down the synopsis to see what was going on around that time.
