Pretty sure I saw both on YT at some point a long time ago. All I remember thinking is, this isn't Drucilla and no one could play the character but Victoria.

Pretty, is mainly what I remember.  Not bad but maybe because VR made such an inimitable impression on the role and also, I knew that it was temporary, I really didn't focus on her too much-- she seemed very much like a placeholder in the role, from the little that I can recall.

I just remembered Kent was also on GH from 2005-08

I am so happy that Victoria will be making an appearance as herself to talk about Neil this week on the show, of course as everyone knows it would be fantastic if she could have came back into the role as drucilla.

I agree. As much as I've come to dislike the BTS events at Y&R, I do plan to try to watch these group of episodes (online, later in the days) out of respect for the work that KSJ did. 

 

In interviews, VR said that over the years, KSJ and her both tried to get TPTB to reunite Dru and Neil but were essentially put off and that is a big shame.  I even had an idea years ago of how they could bring Dru back but it was obvious Steve Kent et. al had no intention of reuniting one of the show's most popular couples.  All such a shame.  Oh well, at least we get to see VR participate in honoring her colleague and friend, in some way, it's not ideal but I guess this is all we have now.

I was always hoping that dru be brought back when he was with Karen (Nia long)...it would have had 3 gifted actors playing a triangle where no one was the bad guy...plus Victoria rowell expressed thinking Nia Long was a talented actor..so it could have been a good story.

Karen was played by Nia Peeples.

I was watching a classic episode of Guiding Light from March 1987 and happened to see Victoria Rowell in a commercial for Tide laundry detergent!  She had blonde highlights!

I'm hoping one day I can find uploads from 2006-07. Not my favorite time from the show. But  Kristoff and Victoria had some memorable scenes during that time. I just want to relive them in memory of Kristoff. Watching this week's shows has me reminiscing.
