That reminds me of a supposed scene from the 70's where Jennifer, Katherine and Vanessa apparently ended up in the same plastic surgery doctor's office...I hope that's true and we see that episode someday!
March 15, 20196 yr Member re The Allegro. The original GC watering hole was Pierre's (?) as seen in the first episode. Pierre (Robert Clary) ran it and Sally McGuire was a waitress there. Leslie owned The Allegro I believe and Brock ran it for her. Once Pierre died was the Allegro on the same premises or a totally new establishment? I think the latter. Bill Bell needed a meeting place so had Leslie buy a restaurant. Later The allegro morphed into Jonas' after Leslie had it remodelled to resemble the original Jonas' located in another town (when Les got amnesia and deserted GC) Then when Leslie left town she sold it to Gina who renamed it.
March 15, 20196 yr Member Thanks, I didn't know about "Jonas' I thought it went from the "Allegro" to "Ginas"
March 15, 20196 yr Member Does anyone know the deal wit Leslie injuring her hand before the concert in the 75 episode? When it was mentioned,Lorie had a reaction shot.Did she have anything to do with it?

She was Janice Frame on AW in the early 70's. I think you're right - I was able to find one pic of Victoria as Janice Frame here, top left http://www.anotherworldhomepage.com/1janice.html Looks like the same person, with shorter hair

So much good stuff in that period: Dina's return to Genoa City, the GOAT wedding, the beginning of the eternal feud and the eternal triangle... You should be knighted by the Queen! 🤗
March 15, 20196 yr Member I hope we get to see some of the early Dina stuff, early Lauren stuff and some more Crazy Rick Darros stuff!
March 15, 20196 yr Member I'm also REALLY excited about it!! I'm so glad you all enjoyed the 1978 episode! By the way, the actress playing Lorie is definitely Victoria Thompson. It was while JLB was off on maternity leave.
March 15, 20196 yr Member I wonder if we'll see the whole Danny/Patty/Traci story with Danny/Traci married and Patty accidently causing Traci's miscarriage.. that happened during that late 1984 period of time.
March 15, 20196 yr Member Oh wow, how long was the theme sung during the ending credits? Seeing those sets from the 1975 episode just goes to show that you can do elegant without an enormous set. What you really need is creative talent who can build tasteful and intimate set design. Okay the bar where Brock was looked a bit seedy but my point stands for the other sets. Thanks for posting these episodes. I look forward to seeing the episode from '78.
