Lincoln is a very good actor. If you ever get a chance to see it you should watch a show he did called Afterlife, or something like that, where he played some type of man who was a skeptic about psychic phenomena. The second season

I have never seen Afterlife, but the first thing that I ever saw Andrew in was This Life. It was a British legal drama that I absolutely loved. Andrew was very good in it. He played Egg, the disillusioned lawyer turned writer. Interestingly, Jack Davenport who is in Smash and played Will's rival for Elizabeth's affections in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies was also a lead in This Life. Andrew then starred in Teachers. He was also very good in that as well. I was thrilled when I saw that he got the lead for The Walking Dead and hope that he starts getting accolades for his performances.

Roles like Rick tend to be overlooked because everyone loves dark and edgy and all the rest. Hopefully even if he doesn't get a ton of attention here, it will lead to something else in time. He's one of those actors I never expected to get a big TV show in the US but I was happy to learn he did.

Interview with Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori): http://www.eonline.com/news/360152/the-walking-dead-shocker-sarah-wayne-callies-opens-up-about-lori-s-difficult-episode

I have been thinking that the baby cannot be long for this world. How are they going take care of the baby AND Hershel while on the run from zombies? I don't know how the baby even survived the birth. Lori had no prenatal care and had to be malnourished.

I have to give Sarah a ton of credit. She knew the character needed to die(as she did in the comic although differently), and if her death follows a similar aftermath, Rick is going to go off the rails and start hallucinating.

I admire this show for sticking to trying to be fairly realistic even in a zombie infested world and death is a part of it. Kudos to them for staying the course.

I still can't stand Carl.

This episode is kinda #kanyeshrug for me to be honest.

When he was brushing her hair and a chunk fell out --- WHY?! I wasn't prepared.

I love Michonne and as much as Andrea is a favorite of mine -- God she has rose colored glasses on ALL THE TIME. I can't with her anymore. I just need her to be as badass in this show as she is in the comics.

Poor Rick... but that was messed up what he was doing to Glenn... he was only worried about you Rick!

Daryl in a poncho ... and then feeding a baby...

Enough said.

Also, Walker Fight Club.... LMAO! I have not laughed like that in ages.

Poor Rick. He has lost his mind. It is the guilt on top of Lori's death. I swear, that walker ate Lori. Rick killing the walkers was cool though. I still think that Carol is alive. It was sad when Carl named all the women that they had lost as potential names for the baby.

The Governor is definitely sending his men after Michonne. I hope that she escapes. Let Andrea deal with the crazy.

Loved this eppy, but I could have done without Rick and his mini breakdown. The Gov is something else. What or who do I have to do to get Michonne and Daryl to meet?

Michonne was a total badass tonight! Loved it!

The Walker Fight Club? Um what?!

Andrea is completely useless. I'm hoping she gets laid soon so she can snap out of it.

    • You're welcome. Fall 1982-Spring 1985 was the peak of primetime soaps. What a time to have been alive.
    • 1990/91 Cheers, Roseanne, A Different World, The Cosby Show, Empty Nest, The Golden Girls were still Top 10 shows, and Murphy Brown and Designing Women became Top 10 shows. It was the following season that I think was the transition season for sitcoms.
    • @xtr I loved Martin in Thursday's episode, he was almost a different character. I thought he was flirty, funny, carefree, and giggly. Glad I have someone to share my top 2 women(Nicole and Eva) with, I agree Nicole is the heart of the Dupree family, and also the heart of the show IMO. We rode into the show on the passenger side of her car, lol. What I am enjoying the most about the show, is that they did such a great job character building, because all I care about is the CHARACTER journey. Nicole, Eva, Leslie, Dani, Chelsea, etc. very invested in what's coming next. I even feel that way about Mona, Shanice, and Doug.
    • I know we have discussed the fact that Another World seemed to be planning a location shoot in Finland that got cancelled. I came across this item from the syndicated Soapbox column published June 14, 1982. "Soap operas have been experimenting extensively with on-location shooting in recent years to enhance storylines and increase their viewing audience. A major drawback is the added production costs involved. Another World, for example, cancelled a special trip for Victoria Wyndham (Rachel Cory on the show), who was scheduled to shoot scenes in Finland. The producers felt that the high price tag, along with resentment of the cast members who also wanted to travel but were to be left behind. was enough to scrap the whole project."
    • A few more thoughts about these last two episodes. I thought it was interesting how much disdain both Dani/Anita have for Eva. I thought it was amusing how Dani was calling her lying/conniving and how Anita pointed as if to say, "that part". They definitely are not here for her, and I could see them having harsh confrontations with her in addition to Leslie. I'm curious to see Kat's interaction with Eva on Monday's episode. I think it might be interesting if Kat (along with possibly Naomi/Chelsea) come around to Eva before Dani/Anita do. Of course, Kat will be understandably angry at her. But maybe a tiny part of her might feel sorry for her if she really does believe that she's Ted's daughter as well and that Leslie lied to her. I could see Kat confronting Eva again and warning her not to harm her family anymore. But I could also possibly see Kat admitting that what Ted/Leslie did regarding her was messed up as well. And maybe that will pave the way down the line for them to get along better. I also agree with the comments/speculation made in the threat that Nicole will eventually accept/probably love her someday as well. I still wouldn't mind if somehow Nicole ended up being her biological mother. They have both been acting like they care for each other in this storyline. Nicole somehow ending up being her mother would be soapy and provide some more interesting layers in this story. And regarding Andre/Dani's romance it seems like they are genuinely developing feelings for each other. I have missed episodes, so maybe more of this has been elaborated on. But it seemed like there was genuine affection between both of them when they snuck a kiss publicly in the hotel. And also, them both talking about going publicly with their relationship. I wonder what everyone's reactions will be should they be caught by someone together. Of if they flat out tell everyone about their relationship.
    • I was wondering what week it was, and it explains the low rating for Knots Landing. I was also wondering what preempted Dallas and Falcon Crest.
    • Interesting take on Dallas. Frankly I think the plot of JR Returns should have been the way Dallas ended but for whatever reason they thought they had the chance to get renewed for another season lol. A week later Knots’ 2 hour season finale ranked at #10 against Cheers #3 and LA Law at #5. There’s only a handful of other shows running that long and still doing well enough the ratings/rankings i.e. Gunsmoke, Law & Order, NCIS, Grey’s Anatomy and more recently Blue Bloods.    Another point of interest is the unraveling of the 80’s sitcoms had already begun in the spring of ‘91. The first part of a Who’s The Boss? two part season finale we see here ranked at  #40 and second part ranked at #43 the following week. Growing Pains finale the previous week barely made it into the Top 30. The Wonder Years fared no better. Cosby losing ground, Night Court and Dear John just being there etc.
    • I'm glad a lot of people are continuing to enjoy this show.

I haven't posted in a few weeks and have some catching up to do. But I did manage to look at the last two episodes after hearing about how good they were. I really enjoyed them. My thoughts on them: The affair/secret child reveal was very good. TMG was really good as Leslie, her whole confrontation with Ted/revealing all to the Duprees was very entertaining. I continue to love AM/Eva. She my top two favorites on the show (along with Nicole). I have a lot of sympathy for Eva and how she was conflicted/ultimately felt guilty about publicly revealing the truth to everyone. I wonder what will happen to her next, especially if she does go and live with the Doctor that is friends with Ted and Nicole. I lol'ed at how Martin/Smitty jumped up and grabbed Leslie when Eva was calling her crazy. The way they did that was funny to me. I haven't liked many of Martin's actions/his attitude especially regarding Smitty/his children, but I think it was interesting how he wanted to check Ted for his actions. And also wanted Bill to be questioned/confronted about his as well. I haven't been the biggest fan of the character of Andre, but I appreciated his calm and measured approach after the reveal and how he talked with Eva. I thought it was interesting that he knew about the affair and convinced Ted not to tell Nicole. Speaking of Nicole, I continue to love her character and view her as the heart of this show/Dupree family. I am interested in seeing where her journey goes as a character after this reveal. I'm looking forward to her leaning on Dani and (also Anita/Vernon, etc...) for a change.
