Members DRW50
I hadn't seen this episode before. There are some wonderful Iva scenes in this after she finally learns about Kirk/Ellie - some of Lisa Brown's best work. And there's a terrific scene between Lily and Barbara when Barbara says she has to teach Lily a lesson over lying to her about employing Emily, and Barbara is SO arrogant, and Lily swears revenge. I love that side of Heather Rattray's Lily. I wish they hadn't dropped it. This clip has Barbara going off on Emily. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLlrZJjkUuY
Members amybrickwallace
Simply the best from some of the genre's best actresses.
Members DRW50
Well, this is rare. Some footage from a summer 1981 episode. This is strike material, as it involves that story about Natalie's film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mo5X7xAdwFs I wonder who that guy is with Barbara.
Members slick jones
Wow! never thought I'd see Peter Reckell on ATWT! Is that Cody Sullivan? I've heard of the character, but never seen a picture? {actor Beau Gravitte]
Members DRW50
That makes sense. Dana's character did mention a Cody. Wasn't he with Cricket? I guess I never knew he was with Barbara.
Members amybrickwallace
I'd never seen a Peter Reckell ATWT episode, either. Very cool.
Members P.J.
OMG...that opening! Cody ends up being the father of Cricket's child (Billy Ross, who infamously hit Oakdale to deflower Jennifer right under his cousin Bryant's nose, then never returned from Scotland). I had no clue he also trying to get with Barbara though.
Members amybrickwallace
I think it's a shame ATWT never brought Lisa Loring back when Billy turned up in Oakdale in the early 00s. Does anyone know if she was even asked?

Members amybrickwallace
Interesting. How long did SOD do the "Star Desk" column?
Members DRW50
It's around for the 1980 issues I have. Can't remember after that. I could have sworn he was off the show by the time this came out. I guess it shows the long lag time.

Members DramatistDreamer
I thought that scene between Emily & Meg @ 26 minutes had a bit of irony to it. Meg tells Emily that she can cry if she wants to and Emily mentions how she hates women who snivel. It's ironic because when KMH played Emily, Emily seemed to be snivelling all the time!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICM8bPglnaE&list=UU72wY2GAt44dAxtnf89y0VA Edited September 22, 2014 by DramatistDreamer
