ABC World news with David Muir mentioned her passing and that she was on ATWT. I was surprised they mentioned her time on ATWT.

David Muir said she was on ATWT for a year. When in fact she was there for almost four years.

So disrespectful. And the production companies and executives behind the genre tolerate it by continually undervaluing and discounting their own creative properties.

It’s like that SNL spoof of Southwest Airlines where the staff tells customers, “If you don’t respect yourselves, how do you expect us to respect you?”

The people who produce these shows over the last 25 years have consistently undermined their creative products, so how do they expect people outside the genre to value it. It’s their own fault.

this ny times obit mentions that. in 1980, she was cast as cricket montgomery on as the world tuns.

truth is though: she was far better known as wednesday on the addams family than ‘world turns.

I think this is debatable, because The Adams Family was only on for two seasons, whereas she was on ATWT for three years.  Unfortunately, for Gen X-ers like me, she is probably most remembered for those controversial daytime talk show appearances with her pornstar ex-husband than either of her acting roles.

Jerry Butler....  He was hot!  Their marriage lasted five years. They divorced because of his addiction in working in porn. 

After they divorced Jerry disappeared and was never seen in movies again.

Yikes, I had to turn that off after a few minutes. Looks like they were the types who continually set themselves up for drama and then scramble around trying to justify and blame others. I'm sure booze and drugs don't help...

Lisa met him on the set of one of his movies. What did she expect?

Read up on Lisa's background. Her parents divorced when she wan infant, her mother was an alcoholic and died at 34.

She married for the first time at 15. So it seems there wasn't a lot of stability there. She was married to Doug Stevenson (Lee SFT) for a few years.
