Yeah---Brad's return was light on his previous antics, no doubt because they wanted everyone to forget that he was supposed to have been Jack's older brother, and not just the irresponsible freeloader Peck portrayed. There were a couple of snarky remarks when he first appeared (along the lines of that he wasn't surprised that Carly and Jack had imploded), and some veiled reminders when Carly told Brad she was sick. But certainly nothing that suggested Brad's role in the paternity reveal or how he'd blackmailed Carly into the damned marriage in the first place or gleefully spent Carly's money like it was water. Nope---he was simply Carly's victim. That neither Carly or Jack ever got to call him on his [!@#$%^&*] pissed me off no end.  *eyeroll* Nope---he and Jack fought over Katie. *puke*

As much as I normally would have liked Ro and Brad to acknowledge their "history" (as brief as it was), the thought of McClain and Peck trying to act as former lovers would have made me want to poke my eyes out. Between McClain's fluttery, stammering coyness and Peck's surfer-dude smugness, God knows how bad it could have been. The Ro/Mike scenes when she first came back with Collier were bad enough.

GAWD. Sheffer giving lip service to history was almost as bad as him ignoring it all together. Carly, Mike and Ro---with Carly and Ro either fighting over the past with Mike while also being driven by some kind of jealous snit about Craig  and  Carly pushing her ex-lover on her cousin Molly   *nails scraping on chalkboard*   All pretty much so Sheffer could write his wet dream of Carly screwing someone other than Jack.....UGH.

Does anyone know the addresses of the places in Oakdale, I always wanted to know.

Also when in 1991 did Seth return to ATWT?

And I keep reading that Andrew Kavovit left in 1991, but didn't he return in 1992 for Andy's wedding?

Does anyone know the exact dates of Irna's last stint as HW and both of Marland's stints?

I thought there was a place with a list of addresses used on the show, but I can't find it now. If you really want it---on Wikipedia, along with the biography of the character, it usually lists an address. Kim, Bob and Nancy's address was 10 Yardley Place, Oakdale (60324) and Carly and Jack's place was 123 Elm Street, Milltown (60325). Fairwinds (Paul and Emily's residence) is 100 Stone Ridge Road. Tom/Margo 724 Pinewood Lane. Emma's farm is RR#2, Box 600, Luther's Corners(61324) while Holden & Lily's is One Mile High Road (61324). I remember something being at 1 River Road, but whether that was Holden and Lily's little cabin or Lily and Derek's cottage that blew up, I'm not sure.

I'm not sure how accurate they are (I know the Carjack one is correct) or how far they go back. I tried looking up Hal's address (as he was still living in the house he'd lived in with Babs during their marriage) and they didn't have one listed. Katie's bio only gives a generic "Oakdale IL" address.

Andrew did return as Paul in Dec 1992 for Andy's wedding and stayed for xmas. As did the actor who played Duke but no history books mention that or The dark haired actress who played Betsy when David Stewart Died .

Andrew Kavoit came thisclose to being Stone on GH in 1993, so I wonder if he was ever asked back. Maybe if he was in 1996, we would have got good story?

    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.
