Hoping ATWT saw huge ratings for their final week.

I guess no ABC press release this week? Several other time slots got one, but not daytime.

I also hope ATWT did well last week.

Im at the point i dont care anymore. OLTL, my favorite soap is boring me. GH has been ok recently but from what Im reading, it looks like its just gonna get bad.

That's more or less what I was going to predict. ATWT might get a 2.1 only or it could even get a 2.3 for the week depending how huge of a bump it gets. I see AMC and OLTL both at 1.7 or 1.8. I'd still love to see ATWT beat B&B.

Yes, ATWT and OLTL compete in the East. Last week, the ATWT gain took a chunk out of OLTL so same logic should follow this week. Plus, OLTL ranked 1.6 about one month ago so a .1 drop isn't unrealistic (Last week OLTL pulled 1.8 so a drop of .3 isn't all that big). The two shows share viewers, KISH helped to seal the deal, and there are only so many viewers at 2pm. I don't think a big drop for OLTL means anything when it is up against 'special' programming. I remember the Cheers and Friends finale episodes wiped out competing shows. I wouldn't date to equate anything on daytime with a prime time hit but there will be some flux this week.

Granted, it is only a .4 gain--small when you think about it. We haven't seen any non Bell show break 2.1 in so long! Three years ago, ATWT had B&B's 2.3 and that was considered a rather poor ranking. OLTL could easily hit a 1.5 soon considering they only mustered a 1.6 for a few weeks this summer; however, I still think One Life will grow now that World is dead. I no longer buy the idea that people are network loyalists who refuse to sample other shows. I'm pretty sure OLTL hired Pissante (sp?) in an effort to pick up some lost World viewers. I totally expect to see a ATWT style story soon. I noticed that they used oldMargo (forgot actor's name) a lot this week in the trial. She was good and, for a moment, thought she was Margo I wish OLTL interested me. I wanna give the show a chance but can't get into any of the stories.

I don't see OLTL growing with ATWT gone. Viewers arent going to switch to OLTL. They will watch whatever other soap they have been watching or like me. I have stopped watching soaps. I dont watch them anymore.

OLTL hit 1.6 once, the last week in June.

Wouldn't be surprised if OLTL lost some viewers last week as the previous 3 weeks it posted net gains of 241,000 viewers.

I don't think OLTL will get many ATWT viewers to switch over. I don't think folks jump soaps like they used to.
