This is almost as stupid as Powell killing Talia.

This is why I hate murder "mysteries" on this show, or on most soaps. They are nonsensical. The killer is someone who is used to further the plot for other characters. Melinda and any purpose she ever had are all for nothing.

And they didn't even bother to bring Melinda back for one scene, just to try to help us care.

Hell, they don't even bring Addie back. Perhaps Eli has her stashed away...
