I don't know if anyone posted this, but I read that Elvera Roussell auditioned for Delia on RH before she landed the role of Hope Bauer on GL.

On the one hand, Julie Benz would have been more age-appropriate as Kendall.  But, on the other hand, unless she had been willing to become a brunette, she would have looked all wrong as Erica Kane and Richard Fields' offspring.

I was reading a Soap Opera Weekly from late 1991 or early 1992, and they mention the cop who was supposed to be a love interest for Andrew and lasted for about 5 minutes (her name was Maggie). They said that Saundra Santiago was originally cast as Maggie, but once she was told it would run longer than 4 episodes, she left. What I was trying to figure out is if she aired for those 4 days or if she was never onscreen at all.

 

It's nice to know that Sandra was a part of OLTL in bizarre circumstances for 3 consecutive decades.
