Don't [!@#$%^&*] it up this time, Guza! And why should Dahlia or Lisa Lo go as well? I love them! Some may call Olivia a Brendabot but, while Olivia may be playing out the SL Guza originally wanted Brenda to have (Cooper Barrett was to have been Brenda and Sonny's Dante), Lisa Lo has made her a completely different character. The only thing she has in common with Vanessa Marcil is hair color.

Forget Brenda and Jason. Vanessa Marcil and NewcomerDominicZamprogna. Watch for those promos. I'm calling it now.

I think you might be off base with that prediction. Brenda and Jason were never really romantic (although their wedding was very entertaining).

I am gonna go with Brenda and Sonny because Sonny currently has no pairing, and her secret is she has a little Jax baby.

LOL that's no problem, I can admit they have chemistry, but I hated what being with Sonny turned Brenda into(I almost liked her with Jax at times)

I can't help but to be excited by this news! It's been what, 7-8 years since she's been on the show? I hope not, but I am sure it will decrease airtime for other female characters such as Claire, Olivia and Sam (who needs her anyway?!), but Marcil really brings a lot of energy to the show and her return will rock everyone's core. I hope her secret has something to do with either the Franco/Jason storyline or Dante/Sonny. I'd love to see James Franco/Marcil interact.

YAY!!! Even though it's for a short while, I'm happy! She was my reason for tuning into GH in the mid-90's and was part of my "top 4" hot soap brunettes. LOL I just hope she hasn't lost her hotness.

Since it's just a short visit, I don't think anyone will be losing their jobs. And apparently she doesn't know her secret is a secret or any big deal so it wouldn't be Jax's baby. Maybe it's related to Franco (Frano's baby)?

? Good news, GENERAL HOSPITAL fans! Vanessa Marcil is returning as Brenda this summer! A show spokesperson confirms the report in today's USA Today that the actress will first appear on Wednesday, August 11… and will be hiding a whopper of a secret! Marcil's last Port Charles appearance was from September 2002 through February 2003 — a five-month gig that garnered the actress her first Daytime Emmy Award. UPDATE: "Fans can now rejoice, Vanessa is returning to GH," says ABC Daytime President Brian Scott Frons in a statement. "True to form, Brenda arrives in Port Charles with a secret that will impact Sonny, Jax and Jason." Adds Marcil, "I feel so lucky to continue to be allowed to visit GH and honor where I came from. I am so humbled by these great people and a character that I truly love."

According to ABC's press release, Brenda arrives in town at a time when the three men most important in her life are all in crisis. Even Brenda herself is in a bit of a bind, thanks to the explosive secret she's been keeping… only the former model has no idea the havoc this little indiscretion will wreak if it becomes public knowledge!
