The whole thing is contrived nonsense. Several years ago this whole topic came up and Sonny admitted that he had been verbally and emotionally abusive. I can't even remember the exact circumstances, but I think it was when Carly was put in the nuthouse. Actually, I'm pretty sure he's admitted it more than once. Now magically he doesn't know what verbal and emotional abuse is.

Which reminds me of the whole "I hate you because I love you... which makes me hate you" speech he gave Carly while she was unconscious after the floor gave way during the PC Hotel fire. He's able to articulate the fact that he hates someone because he loves them... but yet, he has no clue what abuse is outside of putting his hands on a woman or child?

Ever since he shot Dante, Sonny's been acting like an 6 year old. Up until then, I at least gave him credit for having the mental and emotional capacity of a 12 year old. He's regressed six years in five months.

Did I miss something or did they not say what happened to Michael. I tried to pay attention and I thought today was the reveal episode but I was left just as confused as I was before

I haven't seen it yet. But I thought "we" were just supposed to be told that it was Carter who attacked him. Not necessarily to what extent.

Guza told Michael Logan that it was going to stay ambiguous for quite some time, so I doubt we'd get full disclosure. He said that this is going to come back to haunt Michael after his release, which is going to come up soon... so I don't think anything was explained in full detail today -- at least to the audience -- about what happened.

It's like Sonny didn't listened to a word Olivia or Carly told him. He went straight to Michael and said the exact same thing to him, that he did to the others these past few episodes anyways Sonny is a joke.

That sounds too complicated for Guza tho...We'll probably find out that all this time the elevator has been double sided and the other side opens up into Brook's new apartemnt. And before you know it the elevator will be a magically floating hallway that leads to Jason's penthouse and Carly's mansion.

Led straight to all of the other apartments on the floor, and most importantly, Brook Lynn's new one. GH so did that last minute. And to me it didn't even look like that door led into that hallway, haha.

This is just an, albeit clever, attempt at absolving Sonny from his misogyny. "Awww, Sonny. He just doesn't know any better! That's all!" Let's face it. It's a lot less damaging that way than it is to admit what we know all along... that he intentionally calls women bitches and whores and sluts to deliberately hurt them and put them in their place.
