LOL...well, as delightful as the Babs/Em/Meg go-round is...it's been going on for a while. I just find it odd Paul (who doesn't really trust either Babs or Emily at this point) wouldn't speculate that either of them might have framed the other.

I got whiplash from today's Reid and Luke scenes. When did Reid and Luke decide to become a couple and make a go of it? They appear once a week. Yet Goutman and JP can't pay attention to their scenes so they make sense. Also, why write Bob so out of character to create conflict for Reid and Luke. Mona could have turned out to be a bigot forcing Bob and Reid to plot against her. And why is Bob trying the sell the hospital and not members of the board who actually own it like Lucinda? THIS is why I'm not crying for ATWT.

Ugh...Pissy and Goutman are idiots and that's why ATWT has been cancelled. Why was Luke's panties up his ass about Reid choosing his job(what he wanted all his life) over him?? They don't have a relationship. Luke hasn't indicated to Reid that he is interested in one. He hasnt shared his feeling for him. Reid and Luke are on once a week again and everything is rushed to serve the storyline. The Bob making Reid choose is absurd and just plain stupid. Plot device [!@#$%^&*] at its best. I wish Goutman and his Pissy would just put Nuke back together instead of ruining or attempting anything that could be great in Reid with Luke.

Although the once a week Reid/Luke scenes comes off as a P&G dictate, Goutman and JP could have taken a couple minutes away from Liberty, Parker, etc. to have Reid and Luke declare their feelings for each other and commit to a relationship as a set up for this plot twist.

I wish Pissy would get over her obsession with the Ciccone clan. Yeah, I know, in wrapping up the show all the stories must be serviced....but DAMN, limit yourself to one mind-numbingly boring pair per episode. Who GAS about some stilted Libby/Gabe "relationship"? And then adding the "do as I say, not as I did" Janet/Libby talk on top of it was like watching paint dry.

The Carjack stuff was sad...but I did love how they spread their disharmony to the otherwise saccarhine Jan/Dusty romance. I flove anytime Carly gets up in Janet's face and rips into her. I wish Jack would get in Dusty's face more...Jan and Dusty never quite paid for their naughty naughty hookup to my satisfaction.

I like Lucinda. Anyone who tries to make Craig miserable gets an A+ in my book.

I'm a floving all the Lucinda as of late. I wonder if ATWT ratings spike has to do with more Lucinda. I didn't mind today's show minus Janet/Dustmite/Liberho/Babriel.

I turned on ATWT, found Janet and Carly whining at each other over Jaaaaaackkkkkkkk, and turned off ATWT.

It's not like the other soaps are showing anything worth watching! I tuned in to OLTL only to see the Ford brothers hour show on full force. So I turned it off....lol

I hope it happens. I'd like to see more of Reid in a good way before this show goes off the air.

And here I am, with my weekly cameo appearance as ATWT cheerleader! But first.....some criticisms....

--Parker, Parker, Parker! I swear, Liberty isn't available to him for like 2 minutes, and it's an epic catastrophe! This obsession he has with her is beyond unhealthy & it cracks me up that nobody even notices it anymore, save NuFaith (who I actually really like). It is too bad, however, that ATWT is going bye bye because they could do some creepy stuff with them years from now, when the characters are older and re-cast. ATWT 2016: Parker Snyder is the new Doug Cummings!

--The new Liberty pretty much sucks. She plays the part as far too mature and without even a hint of fun or sense of adventure. Sometimes, you don't realize how much you like an actor in a role until somebody else steps in & takes over. Such is the case with Meredith Hagner. And, kind of off topic, but did anyone else find it odd that Hagner wasn't on the Emmy ballot this year? IIRC, Marnie Schulenberg was the only actress pre-nommed in the Younger Actress category- why the snub for Hagner, who carried lots of story in 2009? Methinks ATWT had a young diva on set- paging Nelson Branco!

--For the second week in a row, Chris & Katie HAVE NO CHEMISTRY!!! When will TPTB learn that the viewers will only accept Katie in couplings we can make up fun nicknames for? I mean, we've gone from Skatie to Matie to Bratie to......Chratie? Katris? Kastopher? Blech!

Ok, enough negativity, onto the good stuff, which there is much of...

--ITA with whoever said it was a brave choice on the writers' part to have Meg steal the methodone to set up Emily. But is Meg faking these episodes? Is she really hooked on methadone (which is kind of implausible, considering methadone is only useful to opiate addicts- it doesn't give you any sort of high)? Is she really mental but got the idea from Barbara to drug herself to make it look like it's the drugs causing it? For the first time in a long time, I have NO IDEA what the answers to any of these questions are, which is so refreshing as a soap fan. It's nice to just have to go along for the ride with the writers for once & not be able to figure out what is actually happening in a story months before it happens.

--SO HAPPY that Paul & Emily are a couple & that Meg is the spoiler. MUCH better than it would be the other way around. Finally, the writers got it right- Howarth & Menighan Hensley have TONS of chemistry, so they utilize it. What a novel concept!

--Lucinda is cracking my sh!t up. Watching her run around that police station was so much fun. Anyone else think she taped Craig threatening her on Tuesday? That's the impression I got.....but I could be wrong. ATWT is anything but predictable lately.

--I don't believe it, but Luke & Noah are actually in a storyline that isn't cringe-worthy! Who'd have thunk it? And as much as I like Reid, I thought it was great that Noah got to point out all the shady things he's been doing & then popped him one! And guess what? The weak acting link in this triangle......is Hansis! Sheffer Stevens is a find & IMO, Silbermann has finally come out of his shell & is NAILING it!

--Lily is completely self righteous and self absorbed, as she always has been. Here's hoping she ends up alone!

--Good for Carly for calling Jack on his willingness to cover up for Molly but not Parker. I'm sorry, but him going along with the "disappearance" of that disc is the equivalent of Carly breaking the angel. Actually, it's worse, because, let's face it- Molly committed cold blooded murder.....She shot a guy that was tied up because he called her a "whore." Parker simply punched a guy who helped steal his ENTIRE TRUSTFUND, having no idea that someone was going to torch the building he left Gabriel in. As much as I cringed when Carly said it, I think I'm with Dusty- she was absolutely right to say that to Jack about killing Brad. He did kill his own brother and he hasn't changed one bit!

Methadone can make you totally high unless you are addicted to opiates and even then there is a nice buzz. Also, this drug is not only used for addicts but also for the treatment of serious pain. Methadone does not make ANYONE hear babies cry or any of the other stuff Meg has experienced. The writers should do better research and should have chosen another drug.

^^^I just assumed that the point was Meg was acting irrational on a dime to frame Emily. There was no way Meg could have timed it so perfectly otherwise. She could have taken the methodone only to have something appear on the tox screen.

The entire methadone thing was stupid and they should have just chosen another drug. It is another example of Jean P lazy writer. I am so over Janet, Dusty and Libby and wish they would leave Oakdale early. I think Goutman is big into hiring his friends: Grayson is his son's BFF and Billy Warwick joing is yet another sign. I wish they could give these last three months to back burnered characters the majority of viewers enjoy: Paul, Emily, Lucinda, Susan, Bob and Kim, LisaTom and Margo.

I was thinking that Hunter would have been a good friend for Reid considering they both are lacking in the social skills department. I'd really like to see Hunter one more time before the show's end.

Why, now, have TPTB decided to use Lucinda every day? She is great and would have been fun to see over the past 8 years when she was basically MIA. I've always wondered why TPTB never more fully developed the Walsh family past 1997 when Conner, Evan, and Sam all left the canvus? The Walsh family was way better than the Snyder tribe. Speaking of the past, I want Tonio to return for the finale. I know this will never happen but it would be sort of fun to see him come back to Oakdale with Sierra.

Lucinda's on because Lily has no one else to talk to.

Ugh...today's show (other than the Parker/Jack talk) was a waste. Though I am liking mouthy Faith. Anyone who can say call Lucinda "a pusher, not a pimp", has a lot of stones. Figures Lucinda would find a possible heir to her legacy right before the show went off the air.
