Members Eric83
I thought I would hate it, but seeing this promo actually has me a tad bit excited. Even though this is just a blatant ripoff of Glee.
Members Ann_SS
LOL! TPTB are doing everything that they can to get OLTL cancelled as fast they can. ABC's alternative talk show programming must be almost ready. FV has the best musical taste of all the ABC soap producers. I don't understand why he keeps putting on these terrible musical episodes. Eric83, I like your avatar. Layla and Brody should have been together from the beginning, but it won't happen.
Members SFK
And how did Layla get in this?? I saw this yesterday and was like, "Isn't this the high school's production?" Oh well, won't complain, the girl needs to be used regardless.
Members DRW50
Are they doing that same autotuning that makes me avoid Glee? The songs on Glee sound so tinny and fake.
Members dragonflies
Me either, I guess it's easier to write something like this, than actually have to write something GOOD for the show LOL. It's almost like "hey let's do another musical, that way we can get out of writing an actual soap. We'll rip off Glee"
Members Leia
They put you front and center when you get on kayaks. She is getting dumped. This is horrible. Did they forget this is sweeps? I'll check Layla out maybe.
Members Eric83
She'll be at the prom because she Cristian's date and he is a chaperone. I'm guessing the musical and prom are happening the same night.
Members Cheap21
WTF are adults singing in a high school musical?
Members Mr. Vixen
In OLTL's defense...Their first musical episode aired LONG before Glee was on the air. This actually looks good. I'll be watching, for the fist time in weeks.

Members Khan
Unless Brody's in the production (and shirtless), I'm not wasting my time. Meanwhile, for a split second, I thought the title for this thread was "Starr X'd Lovers Porno." Although, now that I think about it, that might be more enjoyable to watch than the actual musical. ;-P
Members All My Shadows
HSM2 was being hyped up all throughout the spring and summer of '07, and shock! surprise! OLTL comes up with this novel idea of having a musical...set in high school! Glee made high school musicals all the rage all over again, and here we go. Members Eric83
Were they singing mainstream songs in the last musical? I remember some marathon SOAPNet had last year on Mother's Day about Blair/Starr and one of the episodes was from May 2007 during the other musical, and the songs they sung seemed to have been for the musical. That was the only episode from the musical I saw. In the promo we can already see they will be singing Battlefield, Our Lips are Sealed, and I Gotta Feeling which is something they would do on Glee.
