“General Hospital” Hits 6-Week Highs in Total Viewers and Women 18-49, as “The View” Posts 5-Week Highs in Women 18-34 and Women 18-49

This Week is “One Life to Live’s” Most-Watched Week in 6 Weeks in Total Viewers, and in 4 Weeks in Women 18-49

ABC Delivers 3 of Daytime’s Top 4 Programs in Women 18-49

ABC Daytime

ABC ranked as Daytime’s No. 1 network in target Women 18-49 (1.2 rating/780,000).

This week stood as “General Hospital’s” most-watched week in 6 weeks in Total Viewers (2.77 million) and Women 18-49 (940,000) – since week of 2/22/10.

Surging by double-digit percentages week-to-week, “The View” posted 5-week highs in Women 18-34 (310,000) and Women 18-49 (860,000) – since week of 3/1/10 – ranking No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, among all daytime programs.

“One Life to Live” enjoyed its most-watched week in 6 weeks in Total Viewers (2.48 million – since week of 2/22/10) and in 4 weeks in Women 18-49 (715,000 – since week of 3/8/10).

In Women 18-49, “General Hospital” (No. 2 – 1.4 rating/940,000), “The View” (No. 3 – 1.3 rating/860,000) and “All My Children” (No. 4T – 1.1 rating/715,000) ranked among Daytime’s Top 4 programs.

Predictions:

YR probably went up due to the ball/fall out from Adam's "death." GH and OLTL both had highest viewers in six weeks according to the press release so they should go up slightly. The rest of the shows are probably the same. Hoping DAYS didn't fall any lower.

They have long way to go but after three weeks of terrible numbers DAYS finally stopped the fall. Now they really need to focus on the demos more. Hopefully, the new stuff with Hope, Chloe/Dan/Mel/Nathan/Phillip/Steph and Arianna/Brady/Nicol will bring the numbers back up.
