I actually see Cynthia's side. She has let Nene disrespect her for a long time. Yes they are friends and have always joked amd been cool but Nene has definitely walked over her! Cynthia not having an opinion was fine when she was co signing Nene but now it is a problem I truly do think Cynthia forgave Nene but Nene had some SHADY ASS confessional comments and blogs. I can see why Cynthia felt some type of way. On the other hand this behavior has gone unchecked for so long that if I was Nene I would be totally flabbergasted and question Cynthia's motives as well. I see both sides.

As for Mama Joyce. I truly cant stand her and she seemed drunk and/or high. She ruined Part 2 for me

Kenya.... girl I need you to do better with your comebacks. I did chuckle when she said "the moose has spoken" and Nene owned it and said "Yes she has"

Phaedra.... girl bye with your criminal husband. In the preview on Watch What Happens I see Apollo comes for Kenya hard next week.

Why is Apollo still coming for Kenya? It was clear from his middle-of-the-night texts that he wanted a piece of her and she wasn't interested. It amazes me how much mileage Apollo and Phaedra have gotten out of that. Even though Apollo has admitted he was lying people STILL act like she wants him.

Kenya wasn't looking at him and he was like " Look at me Kenya I am talking to you!" He said she better hope he doesnt go to jail because she will lose her job. He says he has made her and been her storyline for two years. Also says as much as she talks about him on her interviews she need to start paying him. Kenya doesnt respond and pays him dust. I couldn't tell if Mama Joyce was drunk or just trying too hard.

As for Nene/Cynthia, I think Nene put her ass in place with the Instagram posts, especially the text screenshot. I guess I can see Cynthia being mad if Nene put something shady in her blog but Nene is right, they squashed that beef and hung out MANY times…and you can't say Nene is making that up, because Cynthia was steady posting it all over social media to. So for Cynthia to get so worked up about it now that she stopped talking to Nene and didn't sit next to her at the reunion seems a little false. It feels to me that she knew Nene was over her and, like Nene said, she blows in the wind, and decided to hop to team Kenya because she has no chance.

That being said - I think it's obvious Nene really cared/cares about Cynthia and this falling out has hit her hard. She wouldn't have done the Instagram stuff with anyone else. This friendship meant something to her.

Kenya is so stupid and I'm glad Nene called her out. "If you can't get along with Cynthia, you can't get along with anyone"….Bitch, YOU didn't get along with Cynthia for most of last season so what the [!@#$%^&*] are you talking about? Glad Nene checked that.

Also LMAO at Kenya's dusty self using Kim's "moose" line. She got nowhere with that because Nene just owned it. "The moose has spoken" "YES SHE HAS". I live. I absolutely live.

If anything, Apollo needs to acknowledge that Kenya made him. Before she even appeared on the show, Apollo was a non-entity. Really, all the husbands were non-entities before Kenya came on this show with the exception of Peter and Gregg; however, Kenya's story last season helped increase their parts on camera. So if anyone made anybody, it'd be Kenya. Without her, Apollo would still be the cute ex-con in the background that sucked on pickles and participated willing in his wife's buffoonery. Kenya acknowledging Apollo at least made him somewhat of a interesting character even though I personally don't care for him.

Moving onto the reunion, I think that Kenya stung Nene when she called Marlo's name. That's a sore spot for her. She did quickly shut up when Kenya mentioned her name. And once again, I find it odd that Nene, the champion of nonviolence, was so quick to say she'd get Porsha to "get" Kenya. But should we be surprised? This is the woman that choked Kim at Target back in s2 and attempted to do so again in s3 on the bus to Miami.

Phaedra calling Kenya "barren" was disgusting and gross. To throw something like that someone's face is low. Kenya's no angel but Phaedra took it to an all time low ... again.

Mama Joyce was TOO extra tonight for me. She really was thinking she was up there auditioning for a peach. I find it odd too that she doesn't condone violence, but she was quick to say that she's still capable of dragging wigs or whatever she said. And Kandi needs to realize that checking your parents every now and then is not a bad thing. Had she done what she did to her mother tonight, she would've cut out all the agony and pain she's endured these past few months. Mama Joyce does need to cool it though because she's gonna run up on the wrong one and she's gonna get ass dragged too.

Cynthia/Nene situation, I think Cynthia came out smelling like roses and handled it like a lady. She didn't get out of character and get loud, which shows class. She stated her opinion and left the ball in Nene's court. Nene, however, did not come off well too. How she said that she feel "no one give a sh*t" about her Cynthia's relationship just shows that her 15 minutes are drying up. You can tell that Andy is growing tired of the monster he helped create.

It was obvious during the reunion show...NeNe is just not comfortable with emotions & vulnerability. That's why she was on guard & defensive. But she is hurt too.

NeNe also tweeted that Cynthia will think of her every time she looks at her (Cynthia) wedding photos. I wonder if she lent her some money to pay for it.

I'm writing a series of essays about the first time of a LGBT character in US soaps. I already have datas about Sharon Duvall in DAYS (1977) as first Bisex, Lynn Carson in AMC (1983) as first Lesbian, Hank Elliott on ATWT (1989) as first Gay (someone have or can find the episode in which Paul Ryan finds out about Hank and does not take it very well? I have seen Hank's coming out to Iva and when Hank gets a bullet to save Paul's life from the latter evil father and when he gets tested for HIV after finding out Charlie's diagnosis, but Soap Opera Digest recaps are too much concises...) and Billy Douglas on OLTL (1992) as first LGBT teen in both daytime and primetime TV (I have seen all the episodes on You Tube. BTW, what a great storyline, why it was ignored by the Emmys? Andrew Carpenter and Billy's father players are both really great in their roles! Oh, well, if OLTL was not nominated for Best Drama in 1994 with Marty's gang rape story which won four major awards and was spectacular, no surprise at all - sadly) and I have read something about Azure in The City (1996) as first Trans, but I'd like to see the episode where Bernado finds out and Azure confirms what is said in that newspaper to have something to quote. I like quoting, it gives the essays more depth. I already read the biweekly recaps from Soap Opera Digest on Tumblr and single episodes recaps on IMDB, but I'd like to have more to write about. And something more about critics and public opinions - I only knows that the storyline was rapidly axed because of bad writing and bad performance by Carlotta Chung, but I have nothing to quote.   PS Thank you @JAS0N47 for your incredible and rich site (and work on it). In particular for the Nielsen ratings on weekly basis lists since 1974 and for everything about Sharon Duval - specially for the script of the confession episode dated 23 May 1977! I'm not a DAYS viewers (I'm Italian, I live in Italy and on You Tube there is almost nothing if not short videos), but I've seen some clips of Marlena's first possession (Deidre Hall is terrific in it! Storyline is garbage, but it has its chilling moments and it is funny - I laugh everytime I remember Kristen say to Marlena "according to the book of demonology"! Was she an espert of demons or what!? ) and read on Soap Opera Central daily recaps about infamous Melaswen (brainwashed Marlena has a particular sense of humor - killing ex alcoholic Maggie with a bottle of wine and Alice with her donuts...), so I know something about the soap. Little, but better than nothing.

    • I'm curious the motivation for keeping Bela on beyond the circus story arc.  Did he play a character like his character on EON, or was he more of a good guy? I know he ended up with Sunny at the end of the series, but I always thought that Sunny/Hogan could have been revived once the lack of chemistry between him and the NuLiza became apparent.   Actually... the NuLiza (Louan Gideon) reminded me more of Sunny than she did Liza as played by Sherry... and she just threw off the whole vibe of the show. I see Estelle has just arrived in the late October 1985 episodes, which only means that Wendy and Stephanie are soon on their way out.   It also appears that the Sarah/Quinn/Wendy triangle was set up by Mayer.. and it looks as though Tomlin is going to deactivate it by the introduction of Colleen Dion's character.   I don't understand why no one on the show thought to look at Quinn and realize that he was the problem and write him out.

    • I kind of assume they're toning down Rachel's bad seed tendencies a bit to make it less obvious if they're going for her as the shooter. At least that's what I hope they're doing - I've really enjoyed Rachel being a bratty evil DiMera princess and Marlena finally getting a grandchild she deserves.

. This show is so stupid. Sonny killed an FBI agent less than a year ago by shooting him at point blank range. But the new short bald man is much much worse cause he was a bad guy in some part of Africa and managed to not kill Lucky, Isaiah, Jason, or Anna. This show is crippled by the mob all these years after Guza has been long gone.    Laura is literally saying oooo but Sonny is a good mobster for Port Charles. Give me a [!@#$%^&*].ing break. Sometimes I don’t know why I watch this joke of a show.
    • With all the changes Sunny was one of the longest running characters by that time.  She had never been married and had heaps of story potential. I can see America getting with SFT -you know 'the circus soap'. Smart move because circuses were all the rage with the kids in the 80's. Maybe Stu and Jo could have bought the circus.
    • It is actually pathetic, that Victor’s 50 year old children are still written as scared of this man that has to sit in every scene. I get it, EB has been on the show for almost 50 years, but I don’t care. He’s a man in his 80’s and should not be the damn lead and driving force because you don’t want to upset Eric Braeden ‘s fragile ego that only exists because the writers have cowtowed to this man for so long.
