Heather has been unhingely obsessed with Lisa since season 1. It has driven me mad for years.

Very much. Since college even. And now that she's in the in-crowd, of course she wants the crown she was always denied. So that means taking out the Queen...who would be Lisa. When it's really Mary, but Mary would eat her for breakfast so

How many years later and Erika is still a "survivor" from the Tom/loss-of-money ordeal, blah blah blah...

Too many. Which is why I hope Amanda gets her and gets her good.

The Garcelle effect. Ratings take a major dip following her departure. It seems like those that vowed to drop it when she walked off are standing on business. I know I am.

Exactly. For comparison, RHOA's premiere did about 100K more than BH

RHOBH isnt untouchable anymore

And it’s exactly what they deserve. I hope they keep dropping.

They haven't been for years. That Bravo thought so shows their clear bias.

Bravo favored BH and let a lot of bad behavior slide. Not just the toxic stuff (puppygate; the bots going after Garcelle's son), but just pure laziness. These women were allowed to hide real scandals with fake SLs. Also, Crystal recently said on her podcast that when it came to Bravocon, one of the BH cast told her (I'm paraphrasing) that the BH cast must keep its distance from the other RHs, because presumably they are the crown jewels. It sounds like something Erika or Rinna would say. They really thought their sh!t didn't stink.

Meanwhile SLC continues to kick ass. I am enjoying it so much! Thoughts coming later.

BH by contrast... that opener was carried entirely by Rachel Zoe, who is a STAR and knows the assignment. When she told Kyle someone tried to set her up with Mo in Aspen "but, of course, I would never," I gasped. Yes, Rachel, let her know she can't be too smug around you.

But apart from THEE Rachel Zoe, nobody else is bringing it. The Garcelle talk infuriated me. These women can't operate without sneering at LVP or Garcelle -- another sign of pure laziness.

Whoever is styling Boz this year...😬

Ah, so RHOBH thinks they're Y&R circa 1990's heyday.

Perhaps it's because the show is 15 years old now, but the younger franchises Potomac and SLC still have a fresh energy to it by comparison as they air simultaneously. RHOBH seems stale with its same faces (well, same people) doing the same old stuff. Potomac is wisely planning its next era, as more of the OG's are going by the wayside. Salt Lake City might struggle down the line because the pool of talent in that city is small. But RHOBH isn't really evolving anymore.

The Garcelle bashing looks like the mean girls trying to rationalize to themselves (the audience) that everything they did was right and Garcelle's reactions were in the wrong. Well, I'm glad the debut season's numbers were lackluster.

We've all been saying it in this thread for years and years. BH is super boring. This thread is generally flawless in predicting audience reactions and we've all known this day would come. At last!

And there is the most glaring issue of all. Production allowed the women to showcase fake storylines in exchange for not covering their real life events. I really think the Morgan Wade thing damaged the show because Kyle's constant evasiveness over it drove audiences away when it became clear that Kyle is not sharing her real life. And likely never has.

Zing! That's a great line.

BH has never evolved. Their cast has been stale, and been allowed to be stale, for years.

If the producers had any guts, they'd have fired Kyle and Erika, kept Garcelle, and hired two new women.

Love her or loathe her, Dorit is the only one whose showing her life imploding and audiences who didn't like her in the past are now warming to her.

In the woulda coulda shoulda's, I wonder where we'd be if a couple years ago they had ditched Kyle and Erika, brought back LVP and Camille, and those 2, Garcelle, Sutton, and Dorit could've been the solid 5, with Dorit having to grovel to get back into LVP's good graces. Plus, Camille vs. Dorit is always comical.

RHOP

Now that I got some wiggle room...let me talk about some of the episodes I've seen. In this case...Gizelle's Reasonably Shady anniversary and the non-appearance of Juan's Roommate. Not to mention Monique's return and how it litters the show.

This season has been so good so far. And Monique's return has just added layers to everything. From hearing about her journey since then to the connections she already had (she knows Cookie, too?) to long anticipated meetings with the vets on the show, it was almost like she never left. Or for me, it made me think about Dr. Nicole's appearances on the latest season of RHOM though she was not a regular member. She FIT. A good return so far. Not that all of her storyline has been great *cough*StaceyChris*cough*, but her experience of being a Housewife helps her well. Even Karen feels like she has a storyline going on through Cookie and it's the fact she's AWAY that is the kicker.

As for Gizelle's Reasonably Shady anniversary...Wooow. The Stacey/Chris storyline kept going and led to Stacey/Wendy tag-teaming on Keiarna/Angel was something that I won't soon forget. Stacey taking on Tia, Keiarna, AND Cookie was crazy and made a great cliffhanger because she really handled all of them. Second season curse...WHERE? And then all shade toward Juan's Roommate was welcome cuz why you being a Bitter Betty and not showing up to your own event when it was YOU who was the reason you are no longer on the show? GIRL, BYE.

A good set of episodes that definitely felt like a great two-parter...and worked.

GIZELLE. So...a rift between her and her BFF? Hmmm. I only say this because I saw a clip today where said BFF acted (?) like she didn't know Gizelle was cross-promoting for WICKED. And now this about her not wanting to film. It is funny since Production could easily edit her all the way out like Cha Cha at Wendy's event in Season 5. She can stay butthurt. Meanwhile, Gizelle continued to have surprises. She had a man there, sprung a man from LOVE HOTEL out at the event. Made sure to get a dig in on Stacey during the chaos. And of course, setting off Wendy vs Angel...which I loved. Still having a good season.

WENDY. 'You got smoke for me?' OMG!!! I was LIVING for Wendy. Her twerking in-between an arguing Keiarna and Stacey is an image that I won't soon forget. Once Gizelle lit the match on Wendy vs Angel, Wendy TORE...HER...OFF. She had so much quotable moments. I hollered when she told Angel no one want her there. I REALLY hollered when she told Angel trying to have a moment and fell flat. And Angel deserved it so I can't hate on that. I can hate on any time Wendy talks about money though. Her wanting to do that whole remodel when...you know...I have no words. And it's nice to see her ability to have Stacey's back in subtle ways within scenes. And still picks on Stacey to her face...like a real friend. Something I felt they solidated by walking into Gizelle's event together. And then having Monique's back in ways. I was surprised given the last time they were around each other was the Season 5 reunion. So good to see them bond.

ASHLEY. She will always get a lick in on Stacey. lol. That said...I didn't like how she felt a way about Josh. Her scenes with her mother though did resonate. This December has my mother in my feels. And that worries me. Because she won't always be there. I felt that from Ashley.

KEIARNA. I feel so weird about her to be honest. I know the thing to do is to not like her. But...I do. I know...I'm in the minority. Perhaps for me, it's the fact that I see everyone's points about her. And it's clear it's that second season curse for me. BUT...she keeps me entertained. Even when she's getting roasted...which is all the time. And not being boring like Juan's Roommate. She's been at Stacey since the start of the season so her being gathered by Stacey was great to watch. And we know she has hands thanks to Sesame Street, so she has no right to get offended. And Keiarna has been the bone collector...for better and for worse. Meanwhile, she does have a personal storyline outside of the drama. Though I'm leaning toward her mother and her suspicions about Greg. Cuz he asked her to move in with him again? Really? Everything about that makes me go hmmm given how he was last season. Oh...and then that FOINE brother of hers...mmm.

TIA. I see you, girl! I still love her, but I saw her stirring the pot a little bit between Wendy and Angel for sure. Meanwhile, I felt she was more genuine with Wendy, Stacey, and Temu because Stacey did lie. Even Production is backing that up. I also felt Wendy should understand why Stacey might not want her man around the ladies given the history of husbands on this show. That said...Stacey made herself look guilty not only by lying AGAIN, but coming for Tia at Gizelle's event. That said...Tia held her own.

ANGEL. The only good thing about her is that foine thicc husband of hers and her sister cuz GIRL, WHAT IS THIS??? Did you not learn the first time you told your business to Gizelle and she ran with it. Then Gizelle did it again??? Le sigh. smh. And Wendy destroyed her. She really should have kept her mouth shut. I just can't believe how she continues to fail as a first-time Housewife by making all the wrong moves.

STACEY. And still...SHE RISES!!! And I see it. Stacey and her potential takedown has been the central storyline for the most part. And...WHERE? lol. She has been handling herself so well. And her taking on Tia, driving Keiarna crazy, and dismissing Cookie is major Housewife energy. It's just sad that she continues to do questionable things. I wished she would just be honest about her ex-husband. Like I said, given how this group act with husbands, she has been in her right to keep him away. And stand on that. But I guess that would take away from the fun of her. That said...I also did not like her coming for Tia. And then all the stuff with Chris. Good to see her and Monique deal with the rest of that storyline quickly. I also like she has people in her corner now like Wendy and Jassi...who I am happy to see is still around post-wedding.

This continues to be a great season. And it does seem to have...so far...avoided last season's trap of where it started off great, had that slow middle, and then got good again at the end. May it continue to do so.
