Personally I think so, but I also get it if you want to jump ahead because there are so many seasons and the first 4-5 seasons look older.  It would be sad to miss out on Jeana and Laurie, but if you don't want to start from the beginning, maybe start with Season 5 when Alexis joins, and then Heather soon after. Otherwise Season 9 is pretty GOAT when Shannon joins, which is another good starting point.

Totally late in this thread (work! work! work!) but as someone who recently re-watched all of Season 9 of OC, I definitely agree. Vicki is still fun, Tamra gets knocked down a peg, Shannon has a fantastic 1st season, Heather gets called out for acting superior, and Lizzie was one who should've lasted longer.

Great episode and Stacey could not be shaken...she is impervious to these women! It's incredible to witness. When she didn't hesitate to not only point her finger at Cookie (aka Broke Down Aretha Franklin) but then get closer to her...incredible. And THEN when K gave her all the ammo needed for the "you don't have a husband!" line...sensational.

Angel did the Mention It All podcast and came across really well and very likeable. She is just a flop onscreen though.

Speaking of which, it's really incredible to watch Wendy and Ashley talk about someone being inauthentic when we've got a fraudster and multi season divorce arc to behold...

Finally, Monique was so smart and showed a lot of growth when she didn't take the bait about Stacey potentially dating her ex-husband. Another flop from K who just comes across more bitter and irrelevant each episode.

The episode was so good! Every scene was good. Loved Monique being vulnerable and opening up while shedding context to her mindset when she was on before. I actually truly do beleive that she and Gizelle have formed a genuine relationship. People said Gizelle only cares about Monique now bc she's divorced but thats not in a shady way. The divorce is a shared exprience that has bonded them bc Mo can now see that Gizelle was right about some of the things she said and can admit to putting on a front. With that out of the way, they can be real with each other

Im so over Angel! Her obsession with Wendy is annoying as this delayed reaction. Her problem is that she remembers things incorrectly and runs with it and im glad Bravo showed reciepts that Gizelle called her a catfish and Wendy only repeated it for clarity. Yet she's sucking up to Gizelle and going around talking to everyone about having a problem with Wendy bc she laughed.

Robyn said F Bravo! Its so petty of her to not film to support Gizelle at an event she is throwing to promote THEIR business. I can tell Gizelle is upset at that which is why she let us know Robyn is mad about how she left

I dont think Stacey told Chris anything. It screams of a setup, either from K or Ashley. One of them told Cookie and she told Chris and now K is running back and twisting that to say it was Stacey bc they already have this narrative that she's a liar. But you know who else is a liar? I liked season 9 of OC, but I always have a soft spot for season 8 because it felt like a fitting finale for the original version of OC with season 9 the debut of the next phase of OC.

Season 8 had Tamra being semi nice, Andales in full display, the women actually having fun events without toxic fighting, and lastly the last season where Tamra/Gretchen were friendly.

For all the hype about Stacey going after Monique's ex, and Monique was so chill and adult about it. A total flop for K, and a hilarious example of Bravo taking bits 'n pieces of things and putting it in promos like there's going to be a huge altercation. That said -- WELCOME BACK, MONIQUE!!!

I'm liking Tia overall, but she did come after Stacey a little too harshly. We get it, Stacey's a liar and was totally caught, but wasn't that big a deal, especially considering they all know her ex isn't too keen on being shown on camera around the cast. I feel like when it's a 4th wall issue such as this case, they should just let it slide.

SO much news came out in the past couple weeks, but I echo the disappointment of @Cat in the let down of a potential OG & Newbie RHONY. It's obvious there's still a thirst for the likes of Dorinda, Luann, Sonja, and a big WOW to Carole being back in the fold. We don't need the more problematic ones (Ramona, Jill etc.), but there's still something to be mined from the others mentioned, along with a couple others.

Re: SLC taking the shine from RHOBH. So, so true. Beverly Hills has become the stodgy soap opera that's resting on their laurels.

Re: RHOP Wendy: It's crazy, because I think she's currently having one of her best seasons, where it almost appears she has some genuine friendships, while sparring with her haters. I feel vindicated in always having doubts about her. Something about her was never quite right.

Not gonna lie, I was disappointed Robyn wasn't at the event celebrating 10 million downloads for Reasonably Shady. I had thought she took her axing in stride and was honest about it, but I guess she's too butthurt to make an appearance in hopes the viewers would beg Bravo to bring her back?

This is hands down Wendy’s best season.

I haven't seen this week's Potomac yet, but I listen to the Two T's podcast and they had Robyn on during BravoCon (which she went to), and she said she doesn't want to come back and loves the peace she has in her life today. Her sons are getting through their final years in high school and one is about to sign with a basketball college program which is keeping her busy enough. So I think Robyn is fine (hopefully).
