I've tried repeatedly to watch B&B and honestly I just can't get into it and I don't know why. I normally love trash and campiness in small doses and B&B is filled with it. I'm guessing a show centered around the fashion business is just no longer interesting. It's too trendy perhaps I don't know. I keep wondering if their ratings continue to suffer how long CBS keeps them around.

I can't get into the show either anymore. I tried watching this week but the show wasn't very good at all. There's nothing for me to enjoy. I am glad I stopped watching B&B a while ago. Bradley Bells writing doesn't compare to his dad. He didnt get any talents from his dad. B&B has always been pure campy trash soap. But now it is dull as nails campy.

I think all of the hype about AMC's move, the 40th Anniversary, etc etc, has finally subsided and the true colors of the shows audience are starting to show, and it's not pretty. I honestly think that the show is improved, and deserves better ratings, but I guess that's not what the majority out there thinks.

Some stayed the same though and Y&R went up. AMC has been dropping the last couple of weeks. If the show was that good last week viewers would have tuned in like they did for Y&R. Not that Y&R has anything to yell about...lol...just saying.

Hmmmm...Thursday was OLTL lowest numbers......ouch....How odd no Kish on that day

Dorian tells Viki that she would be making the worst mistake of her life to divorce Charlie. When Viki chastises her for what she has done, Dorian argues that Viki actually started the problem. Stopping Rex, Gigi and Eli from taking Sierra Rose, Tea shows a higher court "stay" that allows Schuyler to take his daughter home. After Tea admits that the hospital board cleared Schuyler, Eli confirms that she is right. Rex vows that Schuyler will have to fight him for the baby but when they almost exchange blows, Gigi stops them and hands the baby over. Todd advises Kelly that she made his day by turning down Kevin's marriage proposal. After talking about her relationship with Kevin, Kelly admits that Todd seems to make his sons happy. Todd thanks her for the compliment and suggests they have sex. After she turns him down, he offers her a job and urges her to take it or he'll give it to Blair. Asking him for a tour of the upstairs, Laudine and Leah hint to Kevin that there may not be a wedding today. In the living room, Kim admits to Clint that she's having second thoughts about marrying him because they're not marrying for love. He offers to cancel the plans but when he pulls out an engagement ring, she laughs and agrees to go ahead with their plans. Clint assures Kevin he knows what he's doing while Kim boasts to her "hags" that she's going through with the wedding. After they tie the knot, Kim sends her friends back to Las Vegas. As they leave, they laugh that her marriage won't last more than 6 months. Greg presses Rachel to tell him the whole story about Schuyler and the Oxytocin but when she claims she can't, he points out she's choosing Schuyler over him. He asserts that she's enabling Schuyler and ends their relationship. Starr questions her mother about the mystery man in her life but Blair claims there isn't one. She then admits that there is a man but adds that they're not even dating. Dorian tells Viki that she would be making the worst mistake of her life to divorce Charlie. Friday another 1.7 for OLTL and no Kish in sight...hmmmmmm....whatever

Staring at the Llanview U. shirt she's wearing, Brody is taken aback when Jessica admits that she's a senior there. Perturbed he's there, Jessica calms down when he admits he brought a few of her things to her. Hearing about Cristian's first day of class with a drooling Jessica in the room, Layla calls her a stalker. He insists it's innocent and points out she kissed him but like a high school kisses. When Brody warns Layla about Jessica, she suggests they "help each other." Viki stuns Charlie with the news that she's asked Tea to put her divorce plans on hold, thanks to Dorian. His hopes are dashed when she announces that she's accompanying Kevin back to London for a few weeks. However, he suggests during the time away, she might find a way to give him another chance. Posing as Roxy again, Allison assures Mitch she's done everything he asked and shows him the "Messenger's Family Album" on her PDA. She claims Sierra Rose might be his way out of prison. Hearing Sierra Rose is with Schuyler, Shane tells his parents it's not fair. Rex claims she'll be with them soon. Rex and Gigi are concerned when Shane mentions a nurse's aid taking photos of him with the baby at the hospital. Natalie stops by to talk about their relationship now that Marty is pregnant and is taken aback to realize that he doesn't know. He presses her until she reveals how she found out Marty is pregnant. Meanwhile, Roxy chastises her when she realizes Marty didn't tell John she's carrying his baby. Finding the LU envelope has a letter she failed to read, Starr reads to Cole that they want her to set up an interview for the honors program. He responds that she'll be a hit. Their plans to have sex are ruined when an upset Hannah arrives. After Starr leaves to fetch Hope from Marty, Hannah talks to Cole about the T.A. who "got her" and then dumped her. Starr returns and spies Hannah hugging Cole.

GH is poop. Hopefully AMC will be in last place.smile.gif GH and OLTL have better 18-49 numbers than AMC. Yet, it looks like ABC is trying to save it instead of OLTL. Like I should care since OLTL is firing my favs left and right....LOL

I still look at the ratings and I want to know how OLTL has supposedly tanked (the demos are pretty equal to last year and probably the last 2 years). So why are they all of a sudden in trouble. Again I don't get it. Is it just because they are now in last place with ATWT going away.

    • Seeing Nicole and Martin together reminds me of watching Alice with Mickey Horton in the 90s and 00s. The seem more like peers than mother and son.  The younger half of the cast (35ish and below) is playing younger, and the older half (35+) is playing older.

    • I'm anticipating most of the cast at the Nice location for a few weeks a la the Tuscan villa for Victoria and Ashland's wedding. I don't know why they bother. I'd rather see the money going into more regular home/office sets. This party has been a bust. No secrets revealed, break ups  etc. Ugly decorations and I'm going to slam the costuming again. Just the guests heaping praise on  Nikki  like she's achieved some magnificent milestone rather than just getting a year older.

In the loving arms of his wife, Dr. Marlena Evans, John took his last breath at the end of the June 2 episode, after suffering devastating internal injuries during a lab explosion. The iconic character went out as he lived — a hero. Sensing the fans’ devastation on Monday, Marlena’s portrayer Deidre Hall posted this simple-but-powerful message to fans on Instagram: “I know. I know. Hardest day ever.”

    • Now coming into June...well...   I knew it was coming but I didn't like the start to the next round of Dani/Bill/Hayley. As the 3 A plots from the start of the show (The SilkPress storyline and Martin's Secret being the other two), it needed to be benched for a while to develop those characters and allow other characters and storylines to grow. 3 months in, Hayley is the weak link, Dani is still divisive, but not boring, and Bill has been making his mark with some plots faster than others. So last week seeing the story starting to loop back around to them with Hayley's potential pregnancy, I honestly had mixed feelings.   I get it. The SilkPress storyline is currently in aftermath/next turn mode, so it has to be moved into a C plot position. Moreso if we want to keep the very talented Miss Trish around. And I love how clever the writers are being with the storyline. They give us enough in the episodes and are still playing out beats to keep the appetite fed. I don't feel like anyone is being dumbed down to keep her around. And Trish is giving nuances in her alone scenes with NuTed. I shouldn't care for a clear psycho, but she be selling it. That said...I wish they had given us a little more of the Martin's Secret storyline in the last week of the month though I loved the game of cat and mouse Bill did on Martin and Smitty to keep the storyline alive and active after it had a nice build beginning of May and vanished for a week mid-May. And it appears like it's about to go back to the backburner as an A plot which of course leaves the A plot of Dani/Bill/Hayley.   I am probably in the minority as someone who is not anti-Dani here and even she annoyed the heck out of me last week. In character true, but I just felt like there was a way to get all of that across without it feeling like...as I've said before...one step forward, two steps back...and have it feel organic. I liked Hayley got a little bit of edge with her, but she still ain't no match for Dani. And it reminds to be seen if we should be going back to that well of a story yet.   Now about today's show...   And I thought Tracy was bad! lol. But YES. Sharon has been worth the wait. And so has Anita's story! Finally having TT in the limelight. This has been a nice slow burn for me and a nice B plot. And the actress is good. The wig is giving. And her holding what Anita's secret is over her head and threatening to tell Vernon....Ooooo...that is what I was waiting for.    And speaking of bad...I thought Eva vs Kat was a great rivalry. But I am loving the rivalry that is growing with 'Nancy Drew' and Silk Press Sheila! They both get good licks in and are so cunning with each other. And I definitely have liked that since the anniversary party, that it has been growing. Now that Kat has been proven right, she has not backed down. And neither has SilkPress. And we got a 'Ms. B@tch' moment, too? LOVE. Eva coming up with a trump card was delicious and so 90s Sami Brady. GOOD. And the coda with Jacob and the expert...YES. The Silk Press storyline has been the best paced on the show so I love that the aftermath of the anniversary party continues to be so...barring one flaw...well for me. Not enough Nicole's POV.   And I like the C plots on display. And by that, I mean Chelsea with Vernon. And it made me wonder what the writers have plan for her love life now that the throuple is over with. I was watching her and going awww.   And of course the mystery man around Martin. I am starting to wonder if he really even works at the country club given how he made a run for it. That would be a twist.    Speaking of Martin...good to see him in scenes with his father and mother.    I'm getting used to NuTed.    I felt the last episode of May was a bit of a letdown, but this was a very nice recovery.
    • Unless they cut him, I'd think he would stay. Surely, he didn't choose to return because he expected high quality. I figure he gets to work when he wants and spend a lot of time doing his own thing and being with his family.
    • The writing for Liz and Lucky is indeed terrible, but if JJ signed a one-year contract he may be gone in a couple of months anyway. Perhaps they’re just cutting their losses.
