Nicole was by far the best one of the night and Len ripped into her. I thought he was unnecesarily harsh bc she was not terrible at all.

Love that they FINALLY got rid of that cheesy opening and got a new one. I hated the kaleidoscope one from before and its about time its out. Also like the new sets and graphics

I feel so bad for Aidan. Almost everything I've seen previewing this season seems to exclude him. Poor thing. Really, though, if you don't watch AMC, how could you possibly know him from anything?

Loved the premiere. And omg... how much better isn't Brooke Burke then Samantha??!! It's ridicilous how much better she is as a host. She's so much more natural.

Chad was good, he had his hips going. But I'm a little worried about his attitue. Please don't be another Floyd Gayweather!! Len was right all along when he put Floyd down. If anyone's following boxing... well he's a stupid scared little a$$. The way he handled the Manny Pacquiao situation was beyond absurd! So, hoping Chad won't have an attitude like that.

I was afraid Shannen was gonna be too stiff. But I actually thought she did pretty good for a first performance. Plus she has one of the best teachers.

Jake. He was ok, I think he'll get better and better if he gets to stay on the show. Same with Aiden. I don't think he was that bad, and he deserved more then 15 point. He was way better then Niecy AND Kate!

Niecy. Ugh, she needs to go home after Buzz. She's a funny character and all, but this is a dancing competition. Poor Ashly got stuck with the old dude.

Evan. Wow, he is stunning in a way. Love his posture. Looking forward to his next routine.

Nicole. Well, I actually don't get why they have started this silly trend with having someone with dance experience on the show. All in all she was good. Filipino pride!

About Kate... can't stand her. Always found her sooo annoying. And let's not get started on those parenting skills. Love Tony though.

So my early favorites this season would be... Evan, Erin, Shannen and Aiden. I've never watched AMC, so it's not for that reason. I put Aiden (and Shannen) on my list because I think part of the show is watching someone who'll get better and better. I think he might be one of those people.

I guess they shortened the rehearsal time for more fireworks between the pros and the celebs, and it worked. I was looking forward to seeing Aidan Turner but I can't say he's done a lot to win anyone over, especially after those offputting scenes where he made Edyta leave the room in tears. I thought their foxtrot was nice but I didn't vote for them and I am expecting they will leave first.

I wish Kate Gosselin would leave, she's just a nightmare! I have never seen Tony react this way to any of his partners. She is also constantly the victim yet tries to present herself as some survivor. You didn't lose a kidney, Kate, you did a foxtrot!

Hate her.

The rehearsal time is always three days for the second week dance...

I dunno I thought Aidan showed a lot more promise this week. I really really hope Kate gets voted off first.

What I meant was that in previous seasons they gave them several more weeks to rehearse their first dance. This season they cut a lot of that off. That means the partners know less about each other and had less time to get into a groove.

Was that also because the cast was so last minute? Still they got three weeks for their first dance didn't they say today--and then this second one was 5 days or whatever (I dunno why I said three days above lol)

I think I read that they cut the rehearsal time down to prevent injuries.
