Jill could kill Murphy and spit on his grave at this point, and I'd still root for her over Katherine and Tucker.

And yes, I do think Murphy is a useless character and Katherine should not have married that fast, especially at her age, marriage is just not needed.

The writing wants us to side against her and laugh at her humiliation, but I'm doing the opposite.

As Carl mentioned, it's a classic case of this awful writing team beating a character down so badly so that most people will stop caring about her/him. This is really bad and manipulative writing.

And who do we have to replace these classic characters? Never has any Y&R regime been this awful at how to bring in new characters. Not even LML.

A scene with her confronting Victor & Nick about buying Jabot will NEVER happen.

Chloe was never close to the new Jill. She was the new Lorie for a WHILE, but they've soft pedealed her to where she's losing her edge. They don't HAVE a new Jill. Then again, I'm really thinking they're not going to be on the air long enough to need a new Jill. They need to have Jill positioned to take Katherine's place, and if the shows lasts as long as Cooper does, I'll be surprised.

That's my point, she used to be more snotty, selfish. Now theyr'e making her into this heroine, when she was an "anti-heroine".

I just don't get what this show has in mind. I know we should cheer their bravery for not bothering to write with an audience in mind, but are we supposed to be happy that what could have been an interesting story about Katherine and her family has become one bored sociopath tycoon against another bored sociopath tycoon, with the wimmin folk learning their place and the Abbott "family" as roadkill yet again?

Doesn't look like anyone is even discussing the episodes, man this is bad. Y&R should be cancelled ASAP.

I get the impression from the writing that when I hit 39 suicide is the only option because life afterwards is not worth living.
