Nikki: Summer's doing so well.

Phyllis: Oh, yeah. She's come a long way. She has a long way to go.

Nikki: Yeah. I hope you realize that Victor regrets very much what happened.

Phyllis: Yeah, I know. I remember him in the hospital with her. I'm also sure it hit him hard when he realized that he indirectly put her there. But I'm not sure if anything's changed with him. I mean, do you think he's any less controlling or vengeful?

Nikki: Actually, I do.

Phyllis: I wish I could believe that. And if I could, it'd be a lot easier to forgive him.

Nikki: Phyllis, you don't have to forgive him.

Phyllis: I do have to forgive him, Nikki. I do. He's the grandfather of my daughter. And my husband needs his father in his life.

Nikki: I think it's good you realize that.

THIS. This dialogue makes me red-mist angry. I can totally see Maria's thinking behind this, too. Let's acknowledge what Victor did in order to not really acknowledge it. Total white-wash. And please don't tell me that Phyllis picked this up again later in the show with Nick. If y'all think for one second that Eric Braeden is going to let the show keep bringing this up in a way that leaves Victor not smelling like roses, you are all delusional!

I know I've been tuning out of Y&R but... have Neil & Ashley been building up for a while now?! Because it seems like two coffees-at-Crimson-Lights-later and Neil is about ready to declare his undying love! I love the idea of these two but using my imagination for fan-fic only goes so far.

This show gives me whiplash.

Ramdon comments...

The Tucker is just incredibly rushed. Freaking unbelievable. I still HATE Nick & Phyllis and by their second scene in each episode I have to hit the FF button. Michael Muhney hasn't irritated me for the first since his Y&R debut. He somehow toned down his antics and tries to do sth. with his material.

I think that darting-of-eyes that he did (that made him seem all "ticcy") was his attempt to show that he was constantly adjusting his visual focus to see out of his peephole.

I guess CBS thought that made him seem too spastic and cocaine-addicted, and told him to tone it down. He responded with -- his words -- "some adjustments".

I think the resulting Adam seems more normal...less twitchy with fewer facial grimaces, etc. That actually makes him less realistically blind...but I don't think CBS cares about that. Devon is the most unrealistically "totally deaf with a cochlear implant" I have ever seen. In fact, they so dis-honor hearing impairment, I wish they'd just give him a miracle cure, rather than perpetuate the farce.

Nope, this is yet another hole of MAB's own making. She's the one that 'unrelated' Kay and Jill which opened up the whole question of the missing kid.

I seriously doubt she had this story planned when she did it, though. She doesn't even seem to have short term planning, much less long term.

First of all, that toenail is gnarls. *gag*

Secondly, the thought of Giggly and, as you so aptly put it, Monkey McSweaterVest going up against the same criminal mastermind who singlehandedly saves people (and dogs!) from burning houses when almost completely blind -- and winning? hysterical.gif
