KA was not good today in those scenes with Maggie and Hope. KA could barely squeeze out a tear.

Poor Sydney. She was trying not to cry. EJ must be a crap father. Sydney is going to hate his guts when she grows up. LOL!

EJ is a schemer and mean. I couldn't stop laughing as he was playing with Sydney's toy and talking to Sami on the phone. He will lose custody of Sydney when this all comes out. He could not resist getting revenge on Sami.

I cheered Justin on as he told off Bo. Bo wants Carly, but can't admit it so he lashes out at Justin. Why can't Bo have his affair with Carly cut out the BS? This is why I can't stand Bo and Hope in their usual drama. This needs to be the end of them one way or the other.

I loved Vivian taunting Carly in the elevator. Carly is so annoyingly weak and needy. She deserves all that Vivian dishes out.

I don't know if that was written into the script or if JS simply improvised and added that touch, but I loved it. EJ is such a rat. I hope Sami gets full custody of all of her children.

It's too bad that Carly's return had to be about Bo at all. It would have been refreshing for her to almost no scenes with Bo, but interact with other characters. Each little 'drama' with Carly gets worse - she keeps getting needier. I don't remember her being this weak the last time around. Lawrence was killed off for this? Hopefully the writers will bring him back to life, and add something worth watching to this storyline.

Suzanne Rogers really nailed it beautifully. Not one false note, just a perfect performance.

Kristian Alfonso did rather well too...which is not always the norm for her.

Mia and Will are annoying as sh*t.

Vivian and Carly in the elevator was heaven. Carly's so pathetic, Vivian can drive her absolutely starkers if that's what she wants to do. Louise Sorel is such fun!

I really like Anna and EJ working together, it's not a great twist, but they have interesting chemistry.

I think SZ and KA both did very well!

Vivian\Carly Elevator scene was great to, very intense. Vivian is a demon

I loathe EJ for being behind all of this Kidnapping stuff. When he sang that DiMera Demented version of Twinkle Twinkle little star at the end of today's episode to SYdney, I was sooo done with him...what a smug, punk!! Raising all of this hell for nothing...loser

I noticed that to!

I like EJ's presence in Salem. I agree that the writers don't know exactly what to do with him, but I think that makes him sort of a wild card. There's so many roles that he could play.

Was it just me, or was Vivian's makeup especially white today? She looked like a ghost! Which was a very nice touch.

And, as far as I'm concerned, Justin can leave town, like, yesterday. What business does he have interfering in Bo and Hope's relationship? I just think he's annoying.

Your right, the writers can go many different paths with E.J. Right now, I am NOT liking how they've made him the mastermind behind this kidnapping, though. I think it was the wrong choice, I'm not liking this at all...

Viv's makeup was extra ghostly today. I was LOL (in a good way) at her whole performance on today's episode. LS is a fantastic actress, she holds true to the villain characteristics. Love her. The makeup was a great touch

I love that EJ was behind the kidnapping! EJ in villain mode is always the best version EJ. EJ in romantic/"decent" guy mode = thumbs down. And of course my other reason is my anti-EJ/Sami-romance agenda. I love this twist! :)

It's too bad Mike and Jen aren't on the show anymore. I would've loved to see the scenes where Maggie tells them about Mickey.

The scene where Maggie puts the ring on Mickey's finger.... :(

Yeah, but it's a "false" relationship which means Sami/Rafe are the "rooting couple". Sami "forgave" EJ for raping her. She better forgive him for kidnapping Sydney, especially after what she went through in 2009. I have faith in Tomlin. I don't believe he sees EJ/Sami like Sheffer did. I think Rafe/Sami is *his* couple. So far so good.

ITA, Toups. Nicole's switching the babies blew up in her face so it follows that EJ kidnapping Sydney will cost him the false bond that he forges with Sam when the truth is revealed. For right now, Rafe and Sami are the couple being ripped apart by a third party.

Who is writing Days, Tomlin or Higley?

Exactly. EJ is the third party. I've been very happy with Tomlin's handling of Brady/Nicole/EJ/Sami/Rafe since he started.

Tomlin is the big picture guy, it's his vision, it's his pacing. Thank God, Higley's not the creative leader.

I haven't watched Days in about 4 years, but when I read about what was coming up regarding Mickey, I had to watch because I knew Suzanne Rogers was going to be very good in this story and I'm glad I started tuning in again, because she has nailed her scenes so far.

    • This better be something, because as I said, so far it's just cliches and stereotypes -- the story we've heard a thousand times about the homeless person who doesn't want a home and prefers to live on the streets.
    • @rsclassicfanforever thank you very much for the recent uploads of season 13 containing some episodes that were skipped or glitchy on YouTube!  I had a look at 3172 though and there is no audio for most of it? Would you have a copy with complete audio? Fingers crossed! Thanks again!

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
    • Yassss....come on Maurice and Brandon...give us nothing!!! Wow, their need to develop their craft shone like a blinding light this episode. Brandon in his Martin and Smitty scenes sounded like he was reading and the facial expressions were giving Disney Channel. He did much better against Maurice in the Martin v Ted scenes. Now, Teddd-dyy (Dana's voice) was just flat. I watched the episode just now after reading the comment on here that Maurice needs to stop swaying, and now I can't unsee it. Has it really been this bad all along?  Ambyr carries. I don't need to say anymore. I am kind of excited to see this Kat/Tomas/Eva stuff play out.  Bill is such a dick to Dani. Like that's the mother of your children that you cheated on with your daughter's best friend but you look to take those low blows. Lord! When he said that thing about it being obvious he didn't care about Dani anymore since he was the one that walked out...that was cold. I even felt for Dani. Bill definitely is all over the spectrum. You can see a villain possibly surfacing, but you also see this great father. The elder Duprees move a little funny. I'm wondering what that is all about. Are they just overly protective matriarch and patriarch because they think it's what's best for their family, or are they afraid their secrets will come out or there's something more sinister there. Why would Vernon want to keep that information from Martin?  I hope something interesting comes out of this June stuff, but as of right now, I'm not too invested. It's not helping my interest on Naomi or Jacob either. However, tge actress playing Naomi has comes a long way from day one.
