The role of Drucilla Winters is now being played by Louise Schaeffer...

Lily: MAMA!!!

Dru: Why are you sleeping with my new husband, David Kimble?

Lily: MAMA!!!

(points the gun at David; it doesn't work)

Nina: Can't you do ANYTHING right?

*BANG BANG BANG BANG*

I watched today and they depressed me too. Add to that the creepy kissing of Adam and Sharrrrrrooooonnnn....and the boring Phyliss and Nick scenes......what a bore of a show. Loved seeing Lauren though....

Billy & Victoria, Mac and JT. I did not see this quad coming. Could be interesting, though there are some weak links in there.

At least Deacon is out of this orbit...

ETA: Ahhh...I see in the flashback episode for tomorrow (Lauren's wedding) we will also be reminding that JT and Mac (Rachel Kimsey) were a couple. It's all becoming clearer...

The choice--SPECIFICALLY--of a shot of Sheila in a black wig has to be more than a random clue. If the writers are yanking our chain, I applaud them. Because I cannot for the life of me imagine who BESIDES Sheila/Sugar Ryder's mom could be.

I'm more and more starting to think that Ryder and Daisy are the offspring of Sugar. That way, all three of them would seem to share sort of odd two-syllable names. I'm not sure why Sugar would hate Daniel/Amber and Lauren...but there must be a reason.

Billy/Victoria have no real chemistry (which is true for both of them and most of their love interests, for me) and she's just another woman he treats like crap, so I guess this must be the future. And of course, Mac and JT can't even discuss her miscarriage of their child even as they celebrate over her upcoming pregnancy.

You know what the sad part about re-airing the Michael and Lauren's wedding is? I thought back then show was the worst it had been and couldn't even get worse. The wedding was wonderful yes, and I liked Gloria back then. Not as much as I did with Joan Van Ark in the role but still. That wedding also includes Susan-Seaforth Hayes as Joanna Manning. It was truly wonderful. I remember JT and Mac they were the most boring couple ever at that point in time. Sheila and all her idiotic disguises. Nick and Phyllis were so hokey I figured they wouldn't last long. It was the end of 2005 and I figured the show would turn around in 2006 as rumors started flowing of a new HW coming, an outsider perhaps....

This utter lack of gravitas on Lily's part is disgusting. It's like she's going through acne treatment, not cancer. It's not the writing...they have scripted the moments for her. It is this bland actress with no range beyond chirpy.

They would do well to backburner her, and bring Neil-Devon-Olivia to the forefront.

    • Oh wow. After reading your post, I realized that they had "Carl Ivati" in the script AGAIN yesterday June 6.    Eva said she was reading his latest, and Tomas said "Work's been so busy, I haven't had time to get into his new series". Then Eva proceeds to tell him that "the first book is called 'Mercy and Goodness' and it's all about how the couple first met and how they got separated".   She goes on and on about how great it is. And she says she has the book in her hotel room if he wants to borrow it. She says it has twists and turns. And meanwhile Kat is snooping in Eva's room to look for the helmet and gloves, and finds the book and dismisses it as "basic". I saw that whole scene -- but I wasn't paying attention to the name of the author.  And when Tomas said the name, I heard it in his accent so I didn't hear "carlivati".  II was mainly trying to see if the acting had improved with the actor playing Tomas, and I think he has improved somewhat.   I only see it when typed out. So they had several scenes yesterday about a "Carl Ivati" book?  Barf! Well at least Kat had the good sense to dismiss it as "basic". Ron Carlivati wrote the breakdown yesterday!   Featuring himself in it! Addressing to the collective "you" whoever you may be: Some of you, months ago, said Oh Ron is only doing breakdowns.  The story comes from MVJ, so he won't influence things, you said. May 27 started it, with Christopher Dunn breakdown and Lynn Martin script. But they didn't need to continue it June 6 with Carlivati breakdown and Jazmen Darnell Brown script.
    • I was completely lost. But it is wonderful that it exists. I didn't really know Robert Mandan had done soaps...well, besides SOAP.
    • Jack and Jennifer are tired. I just don't care about them when they return. They add nothing to the show.
    • Did they really bring back Jack and Jennifer for Jack to prop up Leo and Jenn to serve as an obstacle to Chad/Cat? Are we sure Ron still isn't in the building?
    • We can only hope that they finally kill off Leo too
    • We can only hope that maybe the new writers might read this.
    • You can get so many storylines from a Will/Sonny/Paul/Andrew/Dimitri mess And I'm sure Colton would do a great job

    • Sounds interesting. Too bad we never got that story.
    • Not to go too off topic but if you ever want to see more of his Search run just look for SFT Summer of 1966 on Youtube.
