Well, she was nominated twice for an Emmy on GH, and was the favorite to win the first time around. She was popular enough that many followed her from OLTL to GH, and she won the Best Supporting Actress fan club award at GH for three years running. It wasn't until 2005 that GH really marginalized her, and after her second pregnancy at GH, she was pretty much relegated to also-ran. But she was never unpopular with viewers...only with the mob-obsessed misogynist writers at GH who couldn't write for any female character who didn't have her head up Sonny or Jason's ass.

That would have worked out so much better imo. Perhaps BE would have been a little *too* whiney and neurotic as Liza, but as much as I love RC, I think I could have accepted JL's Skye.

I do agree however that if you're going to bring a character back for an anniversary show, that is not the time to introduce a recast.

I'm not knocking Robin. I can see where, if Skye returned long term, she would be the identifiable actress in the part. I'm only saying I don't think you have to have Robin in order to bring Skye back. Skye has only been on AMC a few times since Carrie Genzel left the role. I know some of those viewers may have followed her to OLTL or to GH but I don't think anything she was given at either of those shows was so good that the role absolutely cannot return to AMC without her.

It's like when Kate Martin died. Nancy Frangione was not the actress most people saw as the true Tara Martin, but they brought Tara back with Nancy, instead of just writing her off because Karen Lynn Gorney would not return.

If Robin won't return, I would rather see Carrie Genzel, or if she isn't asked/isn't available, another strong actress, back briefly then to never see Skye again at all.

Nelson isn't popular, he's relentless. Just because everyone remembers the drunk guy who pissed in the fountain at your cousin's wedding, that doesn't make him popular. The same is true for Branco. His so-called popularity is a result of a vacuum in soap reporting.

Branco is the yeast infection that can't be cured by an over-the-counter treatment, the computer virus that just keeps opening porny pop-ups, and the kid who opens the front door when the Jehovahs Witnesses are in the neighborhood.

I wonder who the guy is?

So Nelson understands the appeal of a murdering grease ball mobster and his hitman, but not the appeal of a tall blond Aussie business man? Every time I think Nelson's taste can't get any worse he proves me wrong.

Gee Nelson, have you ever considered that a female leads job shouldn't depend on her chemistry with a played out love interest?Mo has had one failed pairing after another in recent years, maybe he should be the one to go.

Oh God, I know, right!? One way ticket to Mortville. And 1. Don't most of the actors share dressing rooms? That was a ballsy gutsy move to begin with, 2. No locks on the door?, and 3. Just wait till you get home! Poor kid (if this is even true), and it's also going to be really awkward for him and whoever blabbed because he obviously knows who that person is.

Is it wrong to want it to be Brandon Beemer? :P ....but I have a feeling it's either Mick Hazen or Drew Garrett. In either case, I'm sure Nelson knows who it is because he was videoing through a peephole.

What the eff. Like there hasn't been enough death already... Why not send her off to college?? One like she was planning to attend before she miscarried her baby and her dad was killed.

First, Austin. Now, Marie. Maybe she was the one having the affair that got Peck fired..not Terri C. ......OR....maybe it's Roger Howarth or Paolo Seganti.

    • Brook Lynn has been working my last nerve for at least 2 weeks. I was so relieved when she blurted out her teen queen story to her grandmother who is the most wonderful person in the entire world!
    • Just caught up and these episodes were absolutely amazing! Ambyr Michelle was soooooooooo good, and I felt so bad for Eva, I actually teared up. I love that Andre was nice to her, that was my favorite Andre moment of the series thus far.

I don't need to warn you that if you like this & want to keep it download it. Now, isn't she positively amazing?!!! Well, IMO she is. This is only the first episode that I've got her in. I think there will be more.
    • All true, and all an enormous problem on this show. -- The business stories are maddening because none of it makes any sense, none of it has any connection to the real world. As you said, sitting around and discussing mergers, takeovers, and job switching is not a storyline. -- The deck chairs are constantly rearranged on the Titanic -- that's what this show is. Summer, Chelsea, Sally, and Chloe have been in design for how long? And we've never seen ANYTHING from them. Carrying around an iPad isn't enough. BOLD is terrible, but at least they show us dresses from Kohls and jewelry from Amazon. -- I know it's baked into the DNA of the show, but I will never enjoy seeing Jabot and Newman treat each other as if no other companies exist in the entire world. A new magical line of cosmetics is not going to bring down a company like Jabot. -- This is a writing problem, not a budget problem. An enormous amount of cash is not needed to write compelling business stories and show real products. This is writer LAZINESS.
    • Right? GOD FORBID Vanessa be allowed to cut her own mother-in-law down to size, when REVA REVA REVA needs a rival to sharpen her claws on. RME I mean, they could have, but Long and Curlee (like most HW) seemed to forget about characters once they left town. If they mentioned Trish five times in the ten years she was gone, I'd be surprised.  Yeah, Alex didn't really do friendship, other than Lillian. And most of the time, Henry.  And somehow, by the time she leaves, Sonni is some friend of Mo's? Mo is just everyone's default "friend". SMH.
    • I really have no problem with Kai as a character or with the actor. The problem is putting together two very nice people -- Kai and Trina. Neither of them has a bad side, neither of them has a devil on the shoulder, neither of them is impulsive. I think that's a problem in a soap relationship. Yeah, I agree. All this freaking out might make sense if Lulu wanted to do a tabloid expose on BLQ's LOVE CHILD. We have no indication that's the case.
    • So Sonni would have somebody to talk to who she wasn't conspiring with (Will or Alan)? Alex kept telling Sonni how important her friends were...when she had virtually no friends. Instead they created loyal servants like Jane and Vera to give Alex people to play off of. They did that with Iris on AW, but Vivien was mostly there for comic relief Alex keeping Marah's paternity a secret was absurd. But I still love the scene between Alex and Alan where he convinces her by reminding her how they protected each other from their abusive father. Chris and Bev ATE that scene. Unfortunately, that took place only a few months before he exited the show...always thought they could have built on that, explored more how being Brandon's children screwed them both up. Maybe even used it as an explanation for the way their relationship could constantly swing from hatred to love. Instead of it being merely dictated by the plot.
    • The first one is Cass Winthrop dressed as Krystle Lake on Another World (not from his original creation of the character to hide from the loan shark Tony the Tuna, but at a romance convention trying to find out what had happened to Felicia who was missing). The second one is also Another World, Jake McKinnon as Doris although I don't recall what his purpose was.
