Okay, so I did it. I sat down and watched the episode that aired Monday, and was actually okay with it. Sure, Muhney was bothering me greatly, but everything else I was able to sit through. I don't know why this is---maybe it's because I haven't watched the show in two and a half months and I may be missing it since I got used to it last year, but now I find myself wondering if I should continue. There's a reason why I stopped watching, so why am I coming back, knowing that these are all just tricks they're playing on me as a viewer? ... Or maybe it's just because I haven't seen the Scoobies yet.

Or... maybe I just enjoy knowing that the show sucks and commenting on the few good aspects of the show, like I did last year after LML was kicked out.

There... I'm done talking about myself.

She did. I must say I enjoyed Diane(Alex) vs MTS much better. The looks they gave each other. The passion for the hate for one another. I don't feel that with MTS and ED

Sometimes it's really difficult for me to actually believe that Michelle Stafford and MG are playing mother and son. Especially in today's episode.

I thought today was Ok. Seems like those who have been wishing for corporate struggle are gonna be getting their wish, with this Adam/Victoria/Nick thing. Muhney did look good in his suit, but still too old... and that furrowed brow thing he does has GOT to go. I'm glad to see the Teroni thing finally coming to an end. I'd like to think it's the end of Deacon, but I seriously doubt it. It seems there is a new phase coming that is gonns throw Deacon and Whiny Amber together AGAIN. Frantz is back to wearing her hooker lipstick, I wish she'd STOP. She was wearing pink for a while, and it softened her look so much. I DID like the Daniel/Snoreboria fast one pulled on Deacon, though. It had thought they might pull something like this out, and I see they did. And I guess Glo and Jeffrey still being broke is nice, but becase of the budget, Chapman should have been gone long ago. I'm telling you, if Bill Bell were writing this show, he would have turned the face cream trial, into an EPIC.... and we would have gotten a nice "guilty" verdict, and Chapman could scream, cry, bug her eyes out... do the entire "I'm MELTING!!!!" routine, and then be written off the show. What viewer satisfaction that would have created. Well... back to today, nice to see Tatiyana Ali back, she's a good actress and a sweet character. I thought she was gone for good. Now that she's back, I hope they expand her role some. The writers DID make a faux pas today. Lily was blabbering about the cemetary having nice fall flowers in it.. blue aster (which is correct) and Winter Hoenysuckle. Well, I hate to tell them, but Winter honeysuckle blooms in Febrary/March... not the fall. I use it all the time on my jobs, and I love it.... but it sure don't bloom in the fall:

They do, don't they? I did love how Stafford slapped the taste out of Kanan's mouth today. It was a REAL slap, too. He's such a MAN. He should have let her spit on him... I hear she's into that

I didn't waste my time watching (awaiting that slap on youtube though) but about the aunt/nephew angle, doesn't that sell the whole Daniel/Phyllis dynamic. She wasn't the influential motherly figure during his upbringing so at the time they reconnected I can buy that Phyllis will always try but fall short somehow. Damn when they have nothing else for Phyllis to do they just have MS walk around and slap everybody (though I luv the slaps thus far)

Love your take on the Phyllis/Daniel dynamic..seeing as they connected when he was well into his teens. Their relationship is just right!! I am sure Michelle is going to be QUITE BUSY for a while then she gets her baby break and then she will be even busier. I loved that slap so much, I had someone do it in slow motion for me. SK did list her as one of the few actors on the show that he would love to work with, glad he is getting his wish.

They try to write Phyllis as mother of the year to Daniel and Summer most of the time, even though she very rarely interacts with Daniel and Summer has only ever been around anything big when she was brain damaged for shock value.

Yep, that's my wish too...the sooner the better. I feel like our show is being INFESTED with B&B's ism..and I HATE IT!!!

Talk about a useless character....

Now this is one murder on the show I wouldn't mind happening soon...

But, with this writing regime, longstanding or core characters like Brad and Colleen have to be killed off, not useless Outback trash...
