WHOA, I NEVER expected this to happen at ALL, given how it was said for years that the rights were too expensive for it to make it to GSN. Talk about Hell freezing over. Adding Scrabble would just be icing on the cake.

Also: YAY! Super Password is back! smile.png

ETA: NEW episodes of Press Your Luck? Are there 80s episodes they've never aired?

GSN, as far as I know, has always cycled only a portion of PYL's episodes. Originally, the Michael Larsen episodes weren't reran as part of the package, but they eventually rotated them in. I can remember back in 2000-2001 that it was another show that everyone said GSN would *never* air because of rights issues, then it ended up being picked up (along with $1.98 Beauty Show -- let's revive THAT [!@#$%^&*] immediately!).

There are other shows that they've only aired partially for one reason or another. The 80s Pyramids for sure (25K at least).

Carl, I'd love some direction toward some old UK game shows! I've only ever really watched Family Fortunes, mainly because they'd show so many clips of it in those awesome compilation specials that were constantly on TV a few years ago.

I have set my DVR for Sale Of The Century. I use to watch it when it was on the air back in the day. I have been watching Press Your Luck and Super Password. It will be nice to see some fresh episodes from those two.

I wish they would get some more Dick Clark Pyramid shows. It seems like every week I see the same old episodes with Charlie Seibert, Nipsey Russell or Earl Holliman. They made a career out of just doing these shows.

One of 5 pilots done for Match Game 90, this one hosted by Bert Convy. He didn't wind up hosting the show due to his developing a brain tumor (Seattle-based comedian Ross Shafer wound up with the job--there's actually some interesting stuff on him if you want me to post it here), but he wound dying AFTER the show was already cancelled in the summer of 1991.

This includes the infamous "bobbing for balls" incident with Teri Copley.

Trivia: the Michelle in this episode is the same one from the last episode of Super Password, also hosted by Convy.

I always liked this version of Match Game. It should've lasted longer.
