Thanks so much for posting these clips. Was Rod Arrants still on the show then? There are no cast credits here, but I think he left shortly after Maree Cheatham (who is seen here).

According to this: https://soapoperadvdlist.webs.com/search-for-tomorrow, Rod Arrants left around May/June 1984. There is another episode online somewhere from around that time that has a really sweet Travis/TR scene, just before he gets called out (I think this is the lead up to TR’s kidnapping).

This has got to be one of Travis' last episodes in the first 20 minutes of the video.

Travis dies in June 1984. I believe this is the start of a second revamp in a little over a year. When Joanna Lee came on, she shifted the show dramatically, but kept adding characters into the old and the new. So many of these characters are just new.

Janet was written out in June 1982 after the move to NBC when the show was going younger to fit the NBC demos. As was already stated, she and Danny left for California. Nicolette Goulet and Patsy Pease. When Danny returns in 1983, he mentions his mother going to Europe I believe.

The panties of most of the female characters were stolen and later found under Stu’s mattress. But surprise!  He’d been replaced by his evil twin brother, Dru Bergman!  Dru eventually kidnapped Jo, held her at gunpoint for a week, and was then overpowered by Hogan’n’Patty, who saved Jo.

Mary Stuart temporarily left the show to play a recast Tina on OLTL.  Erika Slezak caught her attempting a Jacqueline Courtney-type power play and got Mary’s butt kicked outta there.

Gee, I don't remember that storyline in the YouTube uploads.

"There have been strange things going on at Liberty House. Jo calls a tenants' meeting to discuss the underwear thefts. In addition, the elevators keep conking out and the laundry room is flooded. Much to everyone's amazement, it turns out that Craig and the apartment complex children are responsible! To get attention, Craig has led the tots on a spree of vandalism. Naturally, they'll have to be punished."

Who on earth's Craig? Some disturbed maintenance man?

(Nope, just looked it up. Sunny's nephew.)

In a 1966 TV Guide interview at the time she was playing Zoe Lawton on Dr Kildare, Lee Kurty mentions she was on Search for 3 weeks in 1963 before being dropped. she was one of the many actresses to play Patti.

Maybe she was a temp?  Wasn’t Abigail Kellogg in as Patti until 1964?
