August 25, 200916 yr Member Why do they need to pair JT with anyone so soon? We criticize Lily for jumping from one relationship to another. When was the last time JT had a storyline that wasn't a romance? Has he had a storyline that wasn't a romance? Please don't say the singing career, I always thought that was part of the Jolleen story. JT situation is way different then Lily. How long he pine after Mac? How long he dated Colleen before she left the first time. How long it took him to get with Mac after she came back. With Lily everything is instant. The ink on her divorce paper wasn't dry yet when she started to make goo goo eyes at Cane. Then she jump right in the sack with Billy.

Is he still considered a poor kid?
August 25, 200916 yr Member I think the last thing they need to do is add more characters, especially establishing a family around JT, who could be easily written out. Let's face it, he's been aimless for years now, even before he got stuck with Bortoria. Edited August 25, 200916 yr by Y&RWorldTurner

Let's face it, he's been aimless for years now, even before he got stuck with Bortoria. I think his lack of real ties helps him as much as it hurts him, because they can put him in any story. The backstories and personality changes for Billy, Nick, Kevin, even Cane, they tend to drag them down.

How come they didn't come for his wedding or the birth of his first child?
August 25, 200916 yr Member Monday: Heather and JT argue and have sex on her office couch! Tuesday: Victoria walks in on JT buttoning his shirt. She's shocked! Wednesday-next Thursday: Other stuff that has nothing to do with the story. Next Friday: Victoria and JT are divorced. Monday: The role of Heather is now being played by Eva Marcille... Haha. That totally sounds like MAB/Hogie.
August 25, 200916 yr Member Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute... Maria studied writing in college? As in Creative Writing, Television Writing, Film Writing? Yups. Graduated from Northwestern in writing and art history.
August 25, 200916 yr Member Yups. Graduated from Northwestern in writing and art history. Wonderful wonderful. too bad it's so incorporated into the show as stories nobody cares about :-p Edited August 25, 200916 yr by ian
August 25, 200916 yr Member OMG. Just listening to that BuzzWorthy interview Victoria Rowell did made me cringe at the thought of what MAB might do to Dru. Rowell pretty much said "shame on Y&R" for destroying Devon like that, probably without even knowing it's that talentless writing team that did it. I don't know if I want her to come back to something that's written so badly. I DO NOT SEE Victoria Rowell staying on the show if she ever manages to get a contract. She was sick just hearing how Lily's cancer story is just a plot mess created for Goddard, and how suddenly Olivia disappears while Lily NEEDS to have her family now that she has cancer. This show sucks. It's starting to hurt me a little bit. Edited August 25, 200916 yr by dmarex

Shouldn't Victoria be admitted to the mental institution for broken hearts syndrome?
August 26, 200916 yr Member I think others have said this before but I think Amelia Heinle would have been great as a disturbed, unbalanced Victoria. Unfortunately those now at Y&R would probably just have her poison Fen's breakfast.
August 26, 200916 yr Member Where's the interview? http://www.blogtalkradio.com/buzzworthyradio/2009/08/25/BuzzWorthy-Radio-Victoria-Rowell
August 26, 200916 yr Member People, seriously, when she heard that there are absolutely no strong women on the show, she immediately called it a problem and said that she would never come to work only to recite lines. I do not see her listening to the crap that the writers are delivering. (And I think that the word "crap" is too mild to describe what is going on there) Plus, I loved how she said that the only way to bring the viewers back is if TPTB swallow their ego.
