TB didn't even try to act. Horrible soap entrance. How did he show up like that? Perhaps he has been living in an underground city underneath the Chancellor estate all these years. I hate this character for being such a ^%$^$%^£%$UHLC!£":@ and I hate MAB for destroying Bill Bell's legacy in order to hire her friend and give his character a twenty year old boy toy.

Now that's just silly.

It felt like watching DAYS trying to do a JER storyline after he was gone the first time.

LMFAO! So true!

BAM! WORD! I agree on everything.

I do agree with that.

But like I said, I tend to give soaps a pass during Summer. When Fall returns I want my soap back kicking ass.

I love that attitude.

Unfortunately, soaps aren't a seasonal thing though, and if it sucks in its current state, it should be called out on it. I personally cannot excuse inane storytelling just because it's a particular season.

Oh well, we all watch with a different approach.

Yep.

:lol::lol::lol:

Did I miss something--Why was Kevin wearing a paper taped to his shirt? And another thing, that phone got cooked in a cake, sorry it ain't gonna work.

Woah! What an ending! I so didn't expect P3 to show up at the end. I'm so glad I wasn't spoiled for that. I just don't understand reading spoilers because you ruin such a crucial part of watching television - the element of surprise. I will never understand it.

I thought the reveal could've been better, could've been a lot more soapy. And I thought Cane gave up way to easily. Anyway, I'm looking forward to see what happens in Monday's US episode - will be watching that shortly. :D

And speaking of spoilers, starting next week, I'll be able to monitor this thread more closely, so I will be bouncing any spoilers to a different thread - since I won't be reading the spoilers, obviously, it will probably go into a Spoiler-Potpourri thread in DTS: SI. I'm so sick of seeing spoiler tags in here - there's no excuse for talking about something that's going to happen weeks later in an Episode Thread. :)

ICAM with whoever said that the Chancellor scenes were awful. Bad writing, really bad pacing, and even worse acting. TB was especially bad, dude needs to go back to painting or something <_<

That's not what I'm saying. I wish Y&R could be spectacular all year round. But the reality is that Summer is a dead time for television. I doubt the execs care much right now, which is why from October on it's due or die time for DAYS (so they say), hence the big casting names. I'm not saying this is an excuse for bad writing, but I'm so consumed with other things that I don't care much what happens and my viewing habits decrease (as long as it's nothing too drastic, hence why I don't mind the stupid Scoobies).

Without even watching today's U.S. show I already know that MAB dropped the ball on this reveal, just from the previews alone. It felt too rushed. I am interested to see how the rest of it plays out though.

I'm giving Maria until Christmas.

We're all just calling it as we see it, so why are those of us who hate his acting being singled out again? It's all subjective.

It's too soon for me to say I hate it, but I felt he was playing that scene for camp and that isn't how everyone else was playing it.

Hoping for that Christmas miracle, DeeeDee? ;)

Mhm.

She gets until Christmas.

If Shendafer rises from the rubble of a concrete parking structure Maria is gonna have to go.

Yep, his acting style was so out of place, especially when Goddard and Khalil were actually decent today.
