Why even make this statement? We all know how y&r fan feels about Adrienne. More importantly, why not use the pm feature?

Why doesn't anybody use it?

As far as Eva, why not give her a chance to learn? Sharon Case was horrible but she improved leaps and bounds. We all know that there are actors out there more talented than Eva but it doesn't mean that she won't develop into one.

I do agree w/ lmfan in how forced the triangle is and how Neil is behaving so uncharacteristically. That was a really poignant statement. It seems that Maria and the writers failed to fully research the Black characters when she took this job. They really need to go back to day one and see who these people are. Then, we'll see a real shift.

I do hate how yet another wife has been cheated on and how yet another wife is fighting for her marriage and how yet another wife is frustrated to the point of near hysteria. It's being well-played but a bit worn out.

It's like they have a play book for how to write a triangle/infidelity. Husband denies he's attracted. Wife swears she sees it. Husband kisses Siren. Wife sees it but says nothing. Later, much, much later, Wife confronts husband. It will never happen again, he says. Husband has sex with Siren.

I am already seeing this story play out.

I find it interesting that when they were casting for Karen, they wanted a 23-year old for Neil. Now, they've got one.

I actually had the same question-since no of it was about Adrianne.-just seemed like baiting IMO.

The Adam and Victor family chemistry is there--and amazing. I loved the scenes, and I'm glad there wasn't some sort of instant reunion. I like that.

And all yesterday did otherwise was remind me I had Trya and the whole dang story.

I was just noting that everything ends up being based on that actress, nothing else. And if you wouldn't respond to posts on a forum I wouldn't even be here. I don't care for the PM feature.

Except Lynn wanted the young version and hired the old one, while Maria replaced her with a younger one. And all because she was on ANTP.

They aren't even trying to work on Tyra, to develop her character. They just give these characters three-four episodes a month with just moving the plot along without any character development for Tyra.

Yeah, Victor was tender with Adam. But Victor is a rotten b*stard for how he treated Adam to this point. Also, my emotional investment is somewhat blunted on the fear that Adam DID this with some "chemical" Frank got him. Do you think that is what happened? I have a hard time believing Adam would do that to himself...but what else might Frank have "gotten" him?? Still, regardless, kudos to the writers for evoking the emotional core of Adam--and Victor's attachment to him--by referencing our dear, lamented Hope.

That is a REALLY interesting idea that I had not considered. I just assumed that Adam was suffering the advanced stages of a degenerative disease linked to Hope's blindness.

The rash/dermatology stuff has also been unexplained (and Heather might like to know what that's about as well!). Maybe Adam needed a reason to go see a doctor -- any doctor -- in order to steal something he hoped might help or test his eyesight?

At any rate, I am THRILLED Chris Engen is back on my screen and bringing it. I'm not sure I understand why Gloria spent a few weeks in jail for murder then gets released on a technicality, while Adam is in the pokey for months and months because he had a couple of pages forged in his father's handwriting. OK, I know I am an AdamFF but I'm pretty sure forgery is the lesser of those two evils!

And CO-SIGN what DaytimeFan said: Adam & Victor's father-son chemistry far out-trumps the "yes, daddy, anything you say, daddy" stuff we get from Nicholas and Victoria. When they aren't being INCREDIBLY rude and dismissive of Ashley, they are being stone-cold bitches in the face of Adam's impending blindness. Nick practically inferred to Heather that the blindness was payback for betraying Victor. Wonder what is the payback for cheating on your wife?

And I know there are people who heart Nikki & Victor 4-Eva here, but I am liking Ashley-Victor just like I did back in the 80s. I wish they would build up Nikki & Paul, because I cannot deal with Nikki pining after the mustache after the way he treated her.

I HATE HATE HATE Clint. I always have...since his last appearance 2 decades ago. The problem is that buffoon thing. That said, kudos to MAB and team for moving on from the Kay thing (and Roger and Annie...welcome worn out), and using Clint in a CLEVER way -- channeling Terrible Tom. The only false note, for me, is how quickly Clint figured out what made Kevin tick...he was never that smart before. But now Clint is so evil, so heinous, that I personally wish to off him! (Don't worry...I can tell the difference between fantasy and reality). I have not hated anyone this much in a long time...which is a good thing, because last week I was just rolling my eyes at him. I cannot wait until his brutal, bloody, ghastly murder (my speculation).

But Clint didn't really know what made Kevin ticked until seeing Gloria's interview. I think at first Clint was putting him in the trunk just to get rid of him.

I love Katherine & Nikki scenes.....

I think Adam may be faking too, the way he was asking Victor about what would happen to him in jail made me lean more on the faking side of things.

I don't think Karen knows about Neil and Vicki's short lived relationship does she? I was thinking it would be interesting if they tried that pairing again if his marriage to Karen doesn't end up working out, of course they would need to bust up Vicki and JT's marriage to do that. Maybe when

Mac

returns

she

can add some tension and conflict that will shake up their marriage.

Eva Marcille could be a good actress someday if she took some acting classes and hired a personal acting coach, to bad that probably didn't happen when Tyra and Ana were written off the show awhile back before they returned.

LOVE Roscoe Born. Have done since Ryan's Hope and Santa Barbara. I always felt that Jack Smith botched his SL when he first appeared on the show.

For the Winters SL to work:

Neil needs to get a backbone,

Tyra needs to buy a personality.

I know Karen is the one we are meant to boo/hiss but Peeples is delivering. And Lord does she ever know it.

Good, I actually like that.

Poor Roscoe Born though, all he can ever do on pretty much all the soaps is appear as a a ghost. LOL! That's mainly because he always plays the same types of characters.

Yes, I know. And their exit storyline is almost always the same. I believe he holds the record for appearing on most soaps, 14. He still didn't do GH and B&B, but I can imagine how he'd end up on both of those shows.

On GH, he could re-initiate the character of

Joe Novak,

gone bad once more.

Joe

was re-animated in the form of

Walt Willey

, right?

Joe Novak

could still be alive, right? So it would take nothing for ABC to move a mobster (a CHARMING mobster) from one show to the next.

If that was supposed to be Devon in the last Tyra/Neil scene, it was lit TERRIBLY. I could barely make him out, and I've got a pretty big TV.
