Wow, just catching the show on SoapNet. Brad in the ice, what a creepy image. It is also such a classic soap death. This show is really on fire. No lie, I am enjoying it so much more than AMC. It is more than just production values, it comes down to the writing. The stories are balanced. I think I have seen the entire contract cast including key recurring players in the last two weeks. Also, the casting has been wonderful. It helps that they have a good retention of veterans from 1998 and before.

If people are worried about the future of soaps, all they need do is look at the current state of YR. It is such a pleasurable experience to watch. It is a successful business. They are making appropraite cuts that have not compromised the quality or identity of the show. Kudos. Just kudos.

Kudos to this post! I completely agree with you.

Don't forget spoiler tags for day-ahead discussion! *cough*Alvin*cough* :P;)

Brad in the ice, what a creepy image.

My jaw dropped when I saw that. I was so cool! (no pun intended)

Jack saying "Bradcicle" was hilarious.

I hope we get some Jack/Brad flashbacks. I'm going to miss relationship.

I first started to tear up when Sharron learned about Brad. SC's eyes immediately filled with water very naturally and it got to me...Then that scene with Ashley and Victoria...

Brad under ice was really creepy and final..Kinda sucked.

Farewell Brad, you were truly one of my favorite characters in daytime history.

The "Bradsicle" comment was pretty damn hilarious though...

I have missed a few episodes and haven't had time to go through the Global TV webisodes...but has Jill found out about Brad?

Jill and Brad always had an interesting relationship. They both came from the wrong side of the tracks, married into and divorced out of the Abbott family, worked together at Jabot and in the end totally forgot exactly how much they had in common. One of those 'soul mate' relationships...

It is Criminal how Y&R isn't using Jess.

Well, I disagree. If Jess isn't on it's because it's her vacation time. MAB has been *very* good to Jess, especially in comparison to Jack Smith.

Of course, I would like to see Jess on everyday, I could watch her read the phone book...

Brad under the ice was creepy as hell. Farewell Brad. His daughters didn't manage to cry for him which was even sadder. Colleen didn't shed a tear when she was wailing in J.T.'s arms. I think she and Abby managed to water their eyes. Thank goodness for Ashley, Victoria and Sharon or no one would have cried for the man. I look forward to Traci Maitland's return. Tracy was the one woman who loved Brad consistently. He should have stuck with her and left Ashley alone.

I hope that Noah wakes up and does some soul searching about his life. His stupid actions with Eden were the reason that Brad lost his life. Noah owes Brad to grow up and make better choices.

The Katherine scenes were well done. Nice to see the real Katherine emerge for a bit.

Oh great I just had a thought. This is going to add to the emerging feud between Eden and Abby which Im so looking forward too, considering the amazing talent and range of both actresses

DeeeDee, I thought you hated Amelia?

Amelia's not a bad actress.

She's just makes a horrible Victoria.

funny thing is Brad got around!! he "did" Tracy and Ashley and Nikki and Vicki !!! he should have had a "thing" with Katherine so he would have "done" Jill and Katherine....the man was a HO!!!
