February 1, 200917 yr Member Umm......many years. I'm intrigued. Will you tell us if this writer is male or female?
February 1, 200917 yr Member As for the breakdown writer leaving one soap to jump to Y&R, is that person at a West Coast soap or an East Coast soap?
February 1, 200917 yr Member My amc guess: Michelle Patrick One of my YR guesses...a black writer who worked with Hogie: Judy Tate..I think Hogan wants diversity on the writing staff another YR guess: Beall has been promoted to breakdown writer. DOOL: Rick Draughon Edited February 1, 200917 yr by RavenWhitney
February 1, 200917 yr Member Michelle Patrick I could get behind Edited February 1, 200917 yr by Zendall Fan
February 1, 200917 yr Member Michelle Patrick has worked with Pratt before, no? At GH? Also, I had heard she had a falling out with someone at GH which is why she returned to AMC a few years back.
February 1, 200917 yr Author Administrator More clues please. Has the writer with ties to the Bell's written for Y&R before, or is it someone that's only written for B&B? If this person was at Y&R before, did he/she write for Y&R during the past 8 years? At first I thought this writer didn't write for Y&R before, but then someone told me they did, so now I'm a bit confused. lol I'm intrigued. Will you tell us if this writer is male or female? Female. As for the breakdown writer leaving one soap to jump to Y&R, is that person at a West Coast soap or an East Coast soap? East coast soap.
February 1, 200917 yr Member At first I thought this writer didn't write for Y&R before, but then someone told me they did, so now I'm a bit confused. lol Has this person written for B&B sometime over the past 10 years? East coast soap. ABC or P&G soap?
February 1, 200917 yr Member Hmm. Female. That's interesting. A female that's been at AMC before and worked there for quite some time. I guess Michelle Patrick is a good guess. Who else would fit this criteria?
February 1, 200917 yr Member Hmm. Female. That's interesting. A female that's been at AMC before and worked there for quite some time. I guess Michelle Patrick is a good guess. Who else would fit this criteria? Karen Lewis also fits that criteria, but seeing as she never worked with Pratt, I don't know if he would hire her.
February 1, 200917 yr Member Did Bettina Bradbury work under Pratt at Santa Barbara or did she join after he left? Unless Pratt and BB have crossed paths before it sounds like Michelle Patrick. As someone pointed out Pratt wouldn't know Karen Lewis. Only other person I can think of is N. Gail Lawrence, if this is a Lisa de Cazotte hire rather than a Pratt hire.
February 1, 200917 yr Member Well there have been some female headwriters on the show. Could one of them potentially come back and work with Pratt in a reduced capacity? I think my head would explode if one scenario ever came to fruition. She who shall not be named.
February 1, 200917 yr Member my pick to join the Y&R is Frederick Johnson who is now with One Life To Live. he has ties to Hogan Sheffer both at Days and As the World Turn and has also worked at the Y&R and William J. Bell. my hope is that if it is Frederick Johnson and he jumps to the Y&R that could hopeful lead to Scott Hammer being pushed out.
February 2, 200917 yr Member Please Let the AMC writer be Michelle Patrick or Karen Lewis I'd take either one though I think AMC needs them both badly.
