Some of mine: -Guza is FIRED at GH. -Goutman and Passanante are FIRED at ATWT. -Daytime Emmy's actually find a new home and the nominations are fair. -B&B gets a total creative revamp. -Y&R integrates its minority characters better. -Better dialogue writers come to OLTL. -Better production values for AMC. -DAYS stops shooting itself in the foot. -GL goes out with at least some shred of dignity. NotColby leaves the show and Ambyr Childers returns. A chandelier falls on KWAK's head. Greenlee leaves town with very much alive Leo. Ryan eats some deadly pancakes DAYS: Marlena is NOT fired. (Michelle Patrick, ect...) -Fire Rebecca Taylor -Bring back Cady McClain, Julia Barr and Robin Christopher -Fire Brianne Moncrief and Denise Vasi -Put Jennifer Bassey and Jill Larson back on contract -Bring back Felicia Minei Behr as EP. -Bring Francesca James as a consaultant -Better sets, lighting, ect.. -Sign Tamara Braun to a longer contract -Give Joe a good storyline The Bold and the Beautiful -Hire a co-head writer to help Bradley Bell -Give Stehpine and JUICY sotryline General Hospital -Fire Guza and JFP ASAP -Recast Carly. (I love LW but she does not fit as Carly) -Bring back Wendy Riche as EP -Hire Karen Harris as HW One Life to Live -Not to have another Mendorra type of storyline -Give Lindsey a storyline -Bring back Andrea Evans and give her a storyline thats not stupid. The Young and the Restless -Phyllis/Nick end their realationship -Bring back Katherine to Geona City ASAP!! Oh yeah for BRIAN FRONS TO BE GONE! And it would once again be about the characters and not who is playing them. I want this Fake(Character) and Real(Character) [!@#$%^&*] to go away. And my next wish is no more returns from the dead. Let writers deal with things the way they are and quit undoing history to satisfy fan bases or just for the stunt factor of it. The biggest betrayal to me as a viewer is to get me to invest in a story only to have it undone later just to satisfy a fan base or to shock. Now to the shows in general: All My Children: * For the sextette from hell to slowly be diminished even more. * David to get what is finally coming to him. I love to see a good villian get what he deserves. * Tad and Krystal to breakup and Tad to finally find love. * Angie to get the goods on David and become Chief of Staff and fire his ass. * Taylor and Brot to become more integrated with the rest of the cast. * And some big time conflict in the Kane family. * And since we are losing Greenlee why can't it be that Kendall doesn't find a heart and she dies and then Zach just leaves town never to be heard from again. Oh boy that would be neat. Well that is just a dream. Maybe they can stick around for their fans but just kind of be in the background and backburnered along with Ryan for all of 2009. * A new Executive Producer. One Life To Live * To hold onto Ron Carlivati. * To stick with the drama and leave the campiness at a minimum * Charlie and Vicki to get a little meatier story. * Todd to finally get what is coming to him. A big who shot Todd story would be great. Not kill him but let him get shot. Y&R * Nick and Sharon to finally find their way back to one another. * ONe of the Brooks sisters to come home ATWT * Let them hold onto Laurence Lau * And a new head writer * End Nuke and let them move on. A fan fic I love written by James (oakdalelover) has Dallas being gay and he gets involved with Noah while Luke moves on with someone else. I like that. General Mobspittle Brian Frons leave the writing and story direction to the Head Writers and does not do what a bigwig Head of Daytime not micromanage his "chosen" few to stifle other characters better yet since he doesn't respect women in a woman's genre do something else he does like and he can take Jr right along with him. Guza has to go that's it...I can't for the life of me understand why this non-writer of soaps is allowed to write for a genre he totally disrepects. More women in this woman genre that is dominated by males who just don't get it. (Not all - some) Clone Mrs Bell from Y&R and bring her to GH In Sri (Rao and the EP of NS2) we trust I forget her name just one year on GH please please Scribe for Alexis please! No more new characters for one year try scribing for the ones you have. That scribing is "for" Jason and Elizabeth and not them being scribed against. The Bell family purchase GH from the corporate Mickey Mouse Club who has ruined ABC soaps; the worst stop the marketing and the promos and all that crap. Its simple tell a good story. MORE ROMANCE LESS VIOLENCE iF I want to watch kids get shot in the head I know where to go. SoapNet be more about soaps since that's why I purchased the cable channel in the first place. Jean Passanante,Leah Laiman and Courtney Simon fired at ATWT. (For any change to take place at ATWT the EP,HW,Co-HW and Story Editor has to go!) The demise of GL is inevitable. (hey... this is a wish list, right?) I wish ABC would fire Guza, Frons, and Phelps, in that order, and enact a permanent ban on any and all mob stories and mob characters on their soaps I wish OLTL would bring back Andrea Evans along with decent actors to play Sara and CJ. While they're at it, bring back James DePaiva and two decent actors to play his twins, as well. I wish OLTL will keep Robin Strasser on contract forever; with Viki off the canvas so many months each year and the Kramer family sprawling, Dorian is becoming every bit the emotional center of the show that Viki is. For all soaps ratings to skyrocket up and that NBC realizes the stupid mistakes that they have made with their daytime lineup and bring back Another World, Search For Tomorrow, Santa Barbara and The Doctors, along with DAYS being the once great written soap that it once was! I would love for DAYS to bring back some older characters like Jessica, Joshua, Alex, Calliope, Eugene, Savannah, Chris Kositchek, Sandy Horton, the real Roman Brady, Kim, Shane, Melissa, Pete, Mike (Michael Weiss as portrayer), Robin, Bill, Laura, Tommy Jr, Jack, Jennifer, Angelica, etc. Bring back sets like Shennanigans, Wings, Doug's Place. Utilize the vets in the right way and integrate the younger characters within the vets storylines. For GL to get back to the traditional way of writing and production of the soap. To have the Bauers return front and center in a huge storyline that centers the show around them again. Bring back Ed, Michelle, Johnny, Hope, Lanie, Maureen (yeah I know she died, but this is a soap right), Alan Michael, and use Rick a lot more and much better. Put Josh and Reva back together and have them become more involved with Lewis Construction. Put Vanessa and Billy back together again. Pull Bill, Shayne, and bring back Marah and Trish to be working in Lewis Construction. Bring back Mindy and Roxy, reinvent their rivalry. Bring back Ross and reunite him with Blake, but Blake should be a whole new woman in a sense of aattitude and kinda of back to old bad girl ways. Pair Trish and Ross together. Give Alan back his edge and sex appeal. I remember when Alan would be involved or married to one woman and turn around and have an affair with another. Bring back Rita as well. I loved her character. Nola, Quint, the Reardons, Amanda Spaulding, Warren, Lujack, Harley, the real Mallet, Eleni, Holly. Bring back the Blue Orchid and the real Country Club. Use all characters and really build the sense of community like writers use to do in the early glory days of soaps. ATWT- Hughes are focused on more! The Douglas Maarland Era needs to return big time. Character driven storylines and more community feel between characters. For the real Lily to return, the real Craig (Scott Bryce), Sierra, John Dixon, Iva, Frannie and Sabrina (Julianne Moore), Jessica, Duncan, Shannnon, Brian, Steve, Betsy (Meg Ryan of course, but thats a big wish), etc. POINT BLANK: FOR ALL SOAPS TO GET BACK TO WHAT MADE THEM SO GOOD IN THE FIRST PLACE! AND WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO WATCH! MORE ROMANCE, ADVENTURE, FAMILY, GRAND LOVE STORIES, ROMANTIC AND EXOTIC LOCATIONS! GRAB US BY OUR IMAGINATIONS AND THE NEED TO SCAPE FROM REAL LIFE AND MAKE THE FANS ONCE AGAIN APART OF THE SOAP FAMILY LIVES. He advices her to write better storylines pronto!! Jean Passanante and Chris Goutman are fired from ATWT. Jake Silberman is fired from ATWT. Scott Bryce and Martha Bryne return to the roles. The Hughes become the prime focus of the show again. Betsy and Steve Andropolous come back to town looking for answers about their daughter from Craig. Roger Howarth is fired as Paul. Andrew Kavovit returns as Paul. Meg and Paul go their seperate ways for good. All the new recasts are fired and not heard of again. Casey reveals he has feelings for Luke. Let's go back to letting writers write. I wish Ken Corday would step down from Days and Ed Scott becomes sole EP I would also like to see Brash and Cwickly to come back to writing days. Or I would settle for LML at Days or even Claire Labine Y&R I wish Dru comes back and Nick and Sharon get reunited. Also a new opening, let's go back to the red sexxy opening. B&B A new head writer and the firing of Brook and or Ridge. Another wish is for all the struggling shows, GL mostly to be reduced to a half hour. It would be so much better for the show. The executive producer position re-gains the power it once had pre-Frons (because as it stands right now it doesn't matter who the EP is, so everyone joyful at the prospect of Carruthers leaving has their head in.....oh never mind, I give up trying to make this point). -Ginger Smith and Karen Johnson out as producers; Francesca James in. -Denise Vasi and Brianne Moncrief fired; Ambyr Childers re-hired -Bobbie Eakes and Beth Ehlers quit/are fired/aren't informed when the AMC studio moves to its cheaper location/whatever, thereby freeing up money for Cady McClain -Lisa Smith Hesser de Cazotte ends up going somewhere else and does not bring her talentless hack self to AMC.
