Pelosi handled this properly. So many wanted her to just rush right to the impeachment inquiry, but she didn't move too fast and acted only when it was sensible to proceed. Everything in the Mueller Report was unscrupulous, but it was so muddled that it would have been hard to build a strong enough case. This phone call with Ukraine is an actually opening to go directly after Trump and the whistle blower's testimony could take him down. The Republican Senate passed a non-binding resolution regarding the inquiry over the phone call, so you know that there is something real here. When McConnell suddenly agreed to pass election security that was a big clue.

Poor Mayor Pete, lol.

Pete was only ever running to get out of Indiana. He did that in spades.

I see that the NYT has already shown us whose side they are on...running an op-ed against impeachment by torture advocate John Yoo.

And this is who runs our country. Sad.

The fake transcript has been released, but it's not good news for the Decider.

The above part about Crowdstrike and the DNC is a "holy shít" moment.

This is shocking. I was expecting a watered down memo but this is damning. Did the White House think this was going to be good for them?

I haven't really been interested in a Biden nomination, but sadly I think he's going to be dragged down along with Trump. Despite the nepotism, I don't think he deserves that.

This is crazy. This is the cleaned up transcript, so what the hell does the actual whistleblower complaint look like?! This also is incredibly damaging for Bill Barr, especially since he backed withholding the whistleblower complaint that clearly implicated him as well...who else does it implicate?!

Rudy Guliani is completely fucked as well. He’s the first one that will likely go down. They’ll try to pin everything on him to save their asses.
