He was likely waiting for a moment where he'd feel justified to terminate Sessions. Cause is needed and that simply is impossible to prove against Mueller, especially after all of the indictments. Besides, it would take time and time is not on the orange clown's side. He needs this to happen before Dems officially take the house. Whitaker would simply remove funds from the investigation. Firing a man who has generated the results Mueller has? He's taking the "I think we can get in thru the window" approach. Forget about trigging a "constitutional crisis," Chuck Schumer. If Trump gets his way, Mueller is fired and the investigation is shut down, there will be literal blood in the streets. The L.A. Riots will look like frat boys' rough housing by comparison. As an Oklahoman, I would say the same about Governor-Elect Kevin Stitt...except Mary Fallin did a pretty good job burying us.
