This gives credence to the sentiment that I had years ago when this 'scandal' broke- that the I.R.S. was likely a woefully understaffed and highly inefficient institution and had been so for at least a decade leading up to 2013. Even when asked about this latest story, a few tried to center their argument, saying the IRS specifically targets groups that express a POV, (implying liberal as well as conservative) as if that was what they meant to say all along. Members Vee Posted October 7, 2017 Members Share Posted October 7, 2017 (edited) Watching several 'liberal' journalists and bloggers get outed as secret sources/pals with Milo as fallout from the above Buzzfeed piece is grimly entertaining. The least surprising for me, somehow, is NY Mag's Olivia Nuzzi, who inbetween some good work has had a somewhat odd path to her career and used to get very, very angry about Hillary Clinton. The Buzzfeed piece doesn't cite her, but she apparently appears in several email chains and tweets chatting happily with Milo, Ann Coulter, etc. (who she calls 'a goddess') I just never trusted her.
