Members Faulkner
I pretty much co-sign with your selections, although I would outright abolish the Younger Actor and Actress categories. The youth talent in daytime just isn't as strong as it has been in years past. I'd like to see Melissa Claire Egan get some recognition for her work on AMC. Members DaytimeFan
I think Jess Walton deserves a nod as Best Supporting Actress...she's playing 'Jill the Caregiver' just perfectly.

Members SteveFrame
Elizabeth Hendrickson & Jay Kenneth Johnson are both too old for younger actor. I think Jay is either 30 or 31 now. I know Elizabeth is the same age as Eden Reigel and she is too old for the category now. Cornelius Smith Jr. I think has one year of eligibility left - this year. Members JackPeyton
ha yes. morgan steph and chels discussing midol for minutes in the brady pup. ha. but you know what that may be the way of the future with people using tivo to FF by the comm's then product placement might be on the way in. Members SteveFrame
Oh product placement is just a year or two away if soaps last. You will get more talks about it all the time. I have some old tapes of Burns & Allen from the 1950's when commercials were just a part of the show. One minute the story is going and the next minute you would see Gracie go over to the table and pour a cup of coffee and start talking about the sponsor. That is all the future of soaps and TV again I am sure. In addition you will see long camera shots that will show a box of Trojan condoms on the night table or more shots of characters going into a store to buy Tums or Rolaids. Or you will see Marlena sitting at her dressing table talking about how she loves her Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds perfume.
Members JackPeyton
^i realy wouldnt mind it if it was done right. when done right it could make the show seem more real. but it qwill take time to get use too.
Members sheilaforever
Have only following the Bell soaps this year plus/minus some OLTL My suggestions with some actors deserving a bold mention... Lead Actress Jeanne Cooper (for once she IS lead), Melody Thomas Scott (great year for her), Susan Flannery, Hunter Tylo (early in the year with her alcoholism), Robin Strasser (camp also needs some Emmy love) Lead Actor Eric Braeden (broken Victor is SO Emmy fine), Peter Bergman (the Victor channeling episode...), John McCook (shortly after he awoke from coma) Supporting Actress Alley Mills (for Wonder Year's sake give the actress an Emmy!), Ashley Jones (for pulling gold with crap), Jess Walton & Elizabeth Hendrickson (pure gold!), Sharon Case, Emily O'Brian, Farath Fath (can't believe I'm saying this) Supporting Actor Michael Graziadei (he's just fabulous and sells everything), Ted Shakleford, William DeVry (for the post-shooting episode), Tuc Watkins, Dude playing Jared on OLTL Younger Actress & Actor Jacqueline McInnes Wood - the most pleasant surprise amongst the young ones, can't think of anybody else in this age group impressing me which is sad but also a nice twist meaning that more mature actors were on the forefront at least on the shows I watch.
