I just want GH to go down.

The longer they continue with the Skate and Carjax crap the more I want them to go down.

I am an Australian female and I wouldn't touch the blonde blunder from down wunder with a 10 foot pole, no matter how desperate I was.

Now on a little side note may I sak where the ratings are? B)

I hope so too, Jonathan, however, I doubt it. I think people tuned in for about 5 minutes and saw more character destruction than ever and tuned right back out.

All My Children better rise!

I'm interested to see where the Y&R pendulum swings this week. I don't even watch that show but I'm fascinated by the way their ratings lurch up and down.

I tuned in for 5 minutes and right back out. AMC deserves to die!

After what I've seen in the last 8 shows so far, I think you're right.

AMC might make it to 2.0 (+.1 from last week), and maybe a blip in the 18-49s, but I wouldn't expect any more than that. It's just the same old, same old that has been driving away viewers for years. I had high hopes for Pratt when he took over from Babs & Jimbo, but it's just more of the same, just more slickly packaged. What baffles me is that ABC lives and dies by research and focus groups, yet we continue to see the same characters front and center in the same recycled plot-driven stories that Kay Alden alluded to in her MIT talk were getting disastrous responses from the focus groups. I believe she called the results of the reseach "just terrible." This show needs a total overhaul to have it reflect its past and nobody is willing or has the guts to do that. AMC has such a rich history, and it's a shame they don't exploit that or look back to anything that happened before 2005. I'm convinced that character-driven stories based on a show's history are what viewers are looking for. These types of stories demonstrate that TPTB have respect for a show, and I think that appeals to long-time fans and potential viewers. Y&R is doing that now with the Kay/Marge story, and I predict it will be a huge ratings grabber. I wish AMC would follow suit.

I can't even think about AMC. What they've done to Zach, Bianca, et al has just turned me off.

I miss being able to watch soaps, but I can't stomach any of them any longer.

ESPECIALLY GL. Say what you will about older women, but for me, Reva having a baby has completely turned me off from the show for good.

I strongly believe that no 53yo, post-menopausal, RECENT cancer survivor should even think about having another child.

Especially when she has already had children grow and move on with their lives.

What if Reva's back-from-the-dead clone became the surrogate mother? At least then it'd be more realistic :D
