Members daysfan
I can see the JER stuff being true(and at this point, I wouldn't mind. Give it a shot I suppose. He's one of the last options Days even has now). Tomlin worked with JER at Passions and Sunset Beach, and Chris worked with him at SuBe too. And I would really think NBC would love it because even if they wanted JER gone from Days, you just know they love JER. Otherwise they wouldn't have brought him back to Days in 2003 and they tried to save Passions so many times.
Members tylerbo20
I wont get my hopes up but ive been waiting for Vivian for years and i know i wont see her again...but Kristen?? come on where the hell is she? and Carrie and Austin let them be happy...they dont need to be on...but maybe Jack and Jen? or Bill and Laura? heck even Julies long lost son?? there are so many good characters to bring back instead of making new useless ones. I LOVE JER!
Members dragonflies
So basically JER would be there to put the final nail in Days' coffin? I think that shows LACK of faith in Days. There's no guarantee JER would even do anything for ratings or the show
Members Sylph
It seems like this show is doomed any way you go: if James E. Reilly comes, he'll ruin it; if you bring a normal, very good writer, DOOL fans won't watch it because he doesn't know how to write for them. Seems being the key verb. Members jimmyk311
I'm shock many anti-Reilly posters who said that he killed daytime want him back.

Members DaytimeFan
JER is not richer than Bill Bell. The Bells are RICH. Reilly and Nixon though are probably in a dead heat for bucks. I really think what the hell, let Reilly return, let his make the show compulsively watchable for a few months, then let it turn to crap and then let it be canceled by NBC with a brilliant conclusion from Reilly. Members tylerbo20
im sure any writer would do wonders for this show if corday wouldnt stick his nose in it and muck it all up.
Members EricMontreal22
Serious? Agnes Nixon who sold her shows for big sums in the 70s to ABC, who's husband took care of the finances and was notoriously good with money, who was working on soaps for 40 years--Reilly's made as much as her? Members Shawn
I can see it now. JERk returns. John and Stefano are revealed to be seperated siamese twins... Nicole is really Xena Warrior Princess. And Sami gets pregnant with Satan's baby. I'd rather see Days cancelled then have the worst writer in daytime history back at the helm... Grab your crucifix Corday. Keep that hideous creature away!

Members dragonflies
LOL Shawn, I can see all of that happening and more. If Corday brings back JERk it's only to push Days into it's coffin and close the lid.....
Members DrewH
I never thought I'd say this, but DAYS needs to keep Higley and Whiteshell as Co-HWs. The show has flow once again and things are making sense. I am enjoying what I'm watching and I haven't been able to say that since February, and even then, stuff was starting to be bad. Tomlin seems to be keeping Higley and her writing team in check. They mesh well, while Ed Scott and Higley obviously did not.
