I'm almost certain Pat was killed off because Lynn Moody had been in the press complaining about her lack of storylines. It's never a good idea when producers take out their anger at a character because they're annoyed with the performer.

A few here and there thoughts on the last episodes of Season 10:

For a while there, I was confusing Terrence E. McNally (Rick Hawkins) with Mark Haining (Mort).

Farewell, Peter Reckell. I still say they should have cut the middleman and had Olivia with Johnny rather than Harold. The timeline still works out for Peter to return to Days.

Olivia's adopted a gradually-strengthening tough girl vibe. I mean, I know she could usually hold her own, but it seems dialed up in scenes like her birthday party. I now understand why Tonya Crowe was in the running to play Lois on GH.

They aren't overdoing it too much with Carlos being helpful to Paige.

I genuinely loved Paige claiming Mack was practically jealous when he found out about her and Greg. Think of all the tension that would go away if those two guys played a game of croquet ...

Donna Mills' last episode really is quite the love letter to Abby. I wish the Abby-Olivia scene would have come closer to the end, but I also understand why it needed to be where it is. Abby's "Hey, Val turned out okay, right?" attitude is also hilarious, and served its purpose much better than the two ladies having an unnecessary interaction. They really haven't had a good scene together since Abby told Val the babies were alive.

I've heard of some influencers who join and don't do any kind of nudity or skin. I guess the original platform was not meant to be for porn anyway, but that's what it is associated with now.
