Wow - this has all been very interesting for me to read. I'm constantly on Max.

The Other Two. Hacks. And Just Like That. The Regime. House of the Dragon. And that's all just been lately. It's always interesting to read different perspectives.

If you ask me - and I know you didn't, lol - I think Max is in deeper trouble than even they are letting on and that it's only a matter of time before the whole operation collapses and sold off for parts.  Of course, this will mean the end of HBO and all traces of it.

There’s been widespread criticism of the WB Discovery CEO David Zaslav running the company into the ground every move he makes. I wouldn’t be surprised if Zaslav takes Max down with him.

Agreed. My husband used to work the Warner Bros. parent company, Time Warner, until it was sold to AT&T back in 2018. He definitely shares the Zaslav criticism!

Agreed overall re: Max, though it does currently have 2 very hot new shows - The Pitt and White Lotus s3

Yeah, White Lotus is the only good show on Max. I miss the good shows they once had..

Knots Landing is not on prime for me. You have to purchase it season by season.  [Note: If I watch it on my Kindle TV, it's on Prime. If I try to watch it through my computer, it wants me to pay for the series. That's so odd.]

Maybe this is a regional thing. I'm in the US and it absolutely shows up as free on Prime for me on my computer.

FALCON disappeared for me only to reappear a couple days later as part of Discovery+ available on Prime because I added Discovery+.

When Discovery+ got KNOTS, each episode of KNOTS was available on Prime twice ; the Prime versions, and the edited Discovery+ versions without the previouslies. A few days later, they fixed it, and thankfully kept the UNEDITED versions. lol

I'll call it growing pains lol

Same; for me, Knots is available for streaming (albeit under "unscripted"). Falcon Crest is available for streaming as well. My guess? The saw the reaction to it moving to "premium" (a.k.a. purchase only) and recoiled.

A follow-up to my post. I can now watch the show on every device. I suspect that they were changing over KL to Amazon Prime on hadn't done on so on the browser version when I checked. I live in the U.S.

James Houghton is the second original cast member of Knots Landing to pass away. Don Murray passed away last February.
