I think I'd have 1987 at #3 and Sid going over the cliff at #6.1987's finale was much better than it should have been given the state of the show, but that whole grimy Paige/Peter/Abby/Olivia saga was the strongest story of the lot. They did a good job with the disbelief and numbness of the situation, especially Donna Mills and Tonya Crowe. Edited February 8Feb 8 by DRW50
February 8Feb 8 Member I'm with @DRW50 : those rankings look pretty good to me, too.I think 1982's finale has to be very high on the list, because of its' importance to the show overall. The implosion of Gary and Val's remarriage is the first sign that KL is shifting gears from average family show or "straight" drama/soap hybrid to full-on soap opera. The transformation isn't complete yet - that won't happen 'til Ciji's body washes up on the beach - but we're getting there.
February 8Feb 8 Member @soapfan770 My rankings:1985-Val seeing the twins alive1984-Karen is shot and Abby kidnapped by the Wolfbridge Group1983-Gary left rotting in jail while Karen realizes Chip is the one who killed Ciji1982-Val walking in on Gary & Abby1981-Sid’s car going over the cliff1980-Gary falls off the wagon and gets back on.1986-Karen is kidnapped1987-Abby hiding and burying Peter’s body1988-Jill’s torture of Val1989-Paige left standing in the rain while Mac gets skunked1990-Paige being stood up at her wedding, Jeff is Karen’s stalker1991-Brian Johnston disappears and then paintball madness/shenanigans.1993-Abby moving back into Knots Landing1992-Meg goes missing and Pierce turns up alive in Paige’s care
February 8Feb 8 Member 1984-Karen is shot and Abby kidnapped by the Wolfbridge Group1988-Jill’s torture of Val (Well-acted and during the writer strike)1981-Sid’s car going over the cliff 1993-Abby moving back into Knots Landing (coming back full circle)1985-Val seeing the twins alive1982-Val walking in on Gary & Abby1983-Gary left rotting in jail while Karen realizes Chip is the one who killed Ciji1987-Abby hiding and burying Peter’s body (I would preferred if it ended with Abby and Olivia both finding Peter's body as the cliffhanger)1980-Gary falls off the wagon and gets back on.1986-Karen is kidnapped (I was hoping she would be kidnapped and never come back).1989-Paige left standing in the rain while Mac gets skunked1992-Meg goes missing and Pierce turns up alive in Paige’s care1991-Brian Johnston disappears and then paintball madness/shenanigans1990-Paige being stood up at her wedding, Jeff is Karen’s stalkerThe above are my ranking..

February 15Feb 15 Member Either Constance McCashin has a damn good plastic surgeon, or she was blessed with fantastic genes. I wouldn't say she's ageless, but she has aged so gracefully.Kim Lankford, meanwhile, looks like she belongs on one of Tyler Sheridan's godawful dramas. Edited February 15Feb 15 by Khan
February 15Feb 15 Member Constance McCashin is 78 going on 79. Kim Langford is 71 going on 72. Neither of them have acted in years. If they've had anything done, it's not blatantly obvious and in your face, especially when compared to their castmates even though said castmates are a little older. If anything, being away from the entertainment industry takes off a lot of pressure in maintaining a certain look, at least in theory anyway.

February 15Feb 15 Member Constance also knows the power of a a fringe, glasses, a scarf and long sleeves. Way less on display.Kim's harsh hair color and outfit are not helping.
